Wow me too. I was just using it to get some cool renders of places I like but then tried importing it into other games, like teardown.

@ImaBanana yeah cause originally I was trying to get google maps into blender for some completely separate to Teardown, and then I just thought maybe I could put it into Teardown.

Yeah that's the only reason I spent so long making I guide, I just want to see what other people can make. Btw I also spent weeks just trying loads of different methods of importing it until I found one which worked well lmao

@ImaBanana Nice guide, I see we had nearly the same method of getting scans into Teardown. I swear I spent months trying to figure it all out XD, how to get google maps into blender, exporting it to teardown, then combining all the textures into a single image. I'm curious as to what other's make of this and what maps they create!

I have the debugged chrome, and renderdoc. I know how to get the models but I just didn't know how to get the textures into one.

@Gunmoon it's a very complicated process, you need to use a debugged Chrome, Google Earth 3D, RenderDoc, Blender 2.92 and the latest version (also need a paid addon), VoxTool and MagicaVoxel. I think, if I remember correctly, I used an addon called lilytexturepacker to bake all the textures together to make one single texture which I could then import into VoxTool.

How did you get all the textures into VoxTool? I can only put one png.
