I just said that I'm remaking this mod. It's literally five comments down, so why would anybody continue it?

I doubt it'll be updated again, but I sure am holding onto hope that someone continues this Mod.

(Don't know why the Devs focus on Space travel and ships, rather than [arguably] more important Core Realistic Processes and QoL updates.)

Definitely need those Winter Taiga trees that can grow in -100°C :D man I miss those and haven't found a mod except this that adds it.

@Reel - There's usually room for improvement over what the base game itself does, but I agree that it sounds like an interesting enhancement for colder biomes.

Okay turns out the next RimWorld update is going to add snowy textures to plants, maybe this biome won't be needed for 1.6!

It requires ReGrowth: Core which Helixien is working on updating but has said it might take a while as it's a pretty comprehensive mod. So we'll all have to be patient until they've had the time they need to update. :)

@null if you want it to be literally all Winter Taiga, set the offset value on the biome commonality slider to like 5

Winter taiga uses BiomesKit for it to generate, unlike the other biomes which require C#.

Mod is due for a remake, probably when the next version hits.

but if u have winter taigas and any other biome type the winter taigas appear incredibly rarely no matter the weather and how common they're set to generate

how do you get an entire planet to be winter taiga? im trying to make a permanant winter world type thing with mostly winter taigas & cold bogs but its spawning like ALL cold bog with very little taiga

Hey there! It seems like RG-Core just removed the hail weather on their side, so fixing the issue would be as easy as just removing the entry in the baseWeatherCommonalities of your BiomeDef. With how it is right now it breaks other mods (like my WeatherControl for example :) )

Space Trees!

is there a way I can set up the trees to not grow under -60c? I wanna set it up like that in my game for personal reasons (I have SOS 2 and I don't want to end up with moon or space maps with full trees outside the ship. I mean, they shouldn't even be IN the ship, but I don't want the "trees grow in -100c outer space biome" cheese)
