Hey Ente, I see the M1 Miner for the back was updated. Any chance there is a RE2 version of this coming out? (or some other new ship to park the M1 in) Love your industrial ships.

@Razgaur. Honestly not too great. Will need some changes or a docked combat SV to do those. Or you add excavator turrets and just mine outside their range.

When i read about the M1 to be supposed to be mounted at the back, i seriously thought, that wouldnt fit... Thought you meant the SV-Miner. Then i tried and was totally O.O "Perfect fit..."

@tanino: Nah, there isn't really anything special intended for the hangar bay. The back hangar pad is sorta intended for the M1 Miner, but that's it.

Love this ship. I wanted to ask, there seems to be room for at least two SV's or HV's in the hangar bay, I put an HM1 in one of them but I wanted to ask if you had something purposefully designed for the other bay that I missed or am I just getting the idea wrong here.

Figured it'd be nice for a HV (Harvester?) or something like maybe a tank.

I loaded it in creative and it showed 6 alien crew members, haven't made it in my save yet.

Thanks wellen! The Exhumer doesn't have any aliens on board. There is also a bug where the factory sometimes shows stuff as building requirement that isn't actually in the blueprint. Maybe you are affected by that one?

I'm loving this one, Ente. Fantastic as usual.
However I just noticed that none of the Alien crew are spawning. The entry for six of them is still in the devices list, but they don't show up. I figured it was the "not all blocks are loaded" bug, but I can't seem to get them in at all.

I've been dating Eclipse and Kronos for hours, but I think Eclipse will be better, because it's more maneuverable. It's a great suggestion, both for riding the M3 Miner, and for putting the Excavator on it. I will go this way.

Now, it would be nice if you made a mining ship like this, maneuverable, with considerable firepower, storage and all the automated drills :steamhappy:

I tried to update the exhumer, but I can't put all shield updates, and then I didn't see much space to add more generators, it would end up ruining the ship :steamfacepalm:

@felipecasalunga: There are three possibilities:
1. Add weapons to this one, especially the positron cannons have proven to be quite versatile. More is better.
2. Use a dedicated combat ship and slap some mining equipment on it.
3. Use a dedicated combat ship and use a docked smaller CV (like my M3 Miner) to harvest the ore
As dedicated combat ships you can really choose whatever you want, I would recommend a bigger one so you have the necessary space available. From my workshop the Eclipse or Kronos MKIV come to mind, choose depending on your quantum/aux core situation.

Hello Ent!

I really like this ship, I really focus on creating it and going to the galaxy to have fun, it really is very useful!

But I'm at a stage where I farm a lot of dronite, legacite, protonium and irtitis. These resources are well protected, their drones are very heavy and sometimes I find some capital ships protecting them, but they are even weak ships and I have to run to not harm myself.

Do you have any good ships to recommend? That has a medium firepower and can withstand a 4~6 excavator.

Just learned something I wanted to share:
don't run from the droneswarm drones, those are fast and have larger range; instead close in and let the turrets take em out, they die fast.
(my ship had a few holes, but a the repair was cheap, so nothing major got destroyed)

Nice Ship - right now im mining the 5th rich Belt in an R system (drone space) and the random drone attack is not enough to make problems for the it.
If I have anny complaint it is a bit bigger than I need and the detailing is so good I can hardly change annything without it looking out of place.

Absolutely loving this ship! Using the Angry Farmer and M1 with it. Currently working on adding auto scripting from Astic to it to auto sort materials, amoung other things.

Thanks zarvoxbe as well! Super Carrier as in bigger than the Hades? No sooner than a major performance upgrade by eleon. Working on a super freighter however. That one will be able to carry quite a few ships.

Cute ship. I altered palette to be more brighter and mounted new railgun cannon - it fits perfectly. With some supliment turrets - it's deadly miner ship~.
Also made few new modules on M1 base to fit some roles~ Like hydroponics or storage expanse. Or specific other roles on our server.

Seems those new asteroids are rare and hard to find. This results for the usage of mining CVs like this one a little useless than expected.

I sadly had to strip the mining turrets and advanced warp core in creative before spawning it in game so I could afford it, but even without those it was worth it. The ship is beautiful in its own way and performs very well. It feels like a lot of thought was put into its layout and details

Point at the shield generator, press P, select the signal tab, in the pulldown menu in the middle select for activate "Teleporter", set the checkbox for inverted.

Nope, personal preference. I do not want it to turn off the shields, since I might trigger it in an inappropriate moment. Feel free to add the teleport signal to the shield generator if you want it to turn off.

So it look like the Teleport is not lowering the shield wen i step on the pad (nore dose it turn on/off) but the is a sensor right above it. mistake?

There shouldn't be anything forbidden in the blueprint. Try to resave it and run the prefabinfo command on it, that should tell you about forbidden blocks. If you are on a server it is also possible the server has a size class limit that is too low.
