Why have so many people abandoned the civilization stuff? Was there some kind of drama or did the modders just lose interest? (I'm talking about starpoint in general)

Question: When I try to summon anything from the CR pack collection in game, it gives me a window text that tells me to download the CR mod, which I did, and pressing E will only summon some things or sometimes nothing. Tried re-subscribing the CR mod, and the whole pack but nothing seem to change, help?

What's the difference between Cormandy Republic and regular Copper Republic?

Lore and setting changed. I just didn't like the name cuz it was absurd

so cormandy is essentially the same, with like the same lore, just that its more supposed to distance itself from the copper republic, with a lot more newer things though

You see originally Copper Republic was made for a community worldbuilding project where each faction's theme was prefixed with a substance/object. Wood Army, Brick Union, Steel Federation, stuff like that. Due to infighting the project died, and I felt I had to form my own rules for CR, which came with a name change. "Copper Republic" just sounded too unnatural for the direction the OC was going in, so I changed to Corman Republic to keep the abbreviation (CR) the same

is there ever an explanation for why it changed from the copper republic to cormandy? i've been looking through both mods to check the lore behind it frfr

The mod was fun. While its dead now, the one thing I never understood is why one of the last updates was to remove all the white from all the formal uniforms and sprites, it just made the uniforms feel a bit more bland, and less interesting. Still, some fond memories!

Just so you know, the Cormany IP is not completely cut. Just that there will be no more CR PPG mods. Looking forward to making other media relating to the project.

just wanna say thjis is like my favorite mod on this entire platform you have no idea how many stupid lil uncannon stories i have made with this mod i literally never get bored of this mod and its been a year :sob: i love this mod and cr cormandy is the only driving factor as to why i still play this game
