Why the thralls don't wield their weapons in the practice dummies? I equip them in their hands but they sheath them after a few seconds...

just letting you know restarting the game resets all thrall beds to default setting day patrol evening patrol night sleep. im sure its not you guys most likely fun com fuckery

I love having my base more active.

Just a random thought:
Have you considered having more load outs than just armor maybe?
Like have a chest for weapons and healing gear to carry if you use a purge mod for example so you don't have to equip everyone individually? And maybe similarly for accessories, assuming the game would know how to properly place each one in its right slot, you could have chests that have various sets of these and thralls would take 1 of each item and equip it.

Alongside the likes of Pippi, this mod is simply amazing. What it has done for the game and players is nothing short of extraordinary. I thank you for it. I honestly don't think I would even play Conan anymore if I didn't have this mod. Living Settlement is a joke, its half a$$ed smoke an mirrors at best.

im nost sure if this mod but i placed some chairs, tables with iron plates and mugs, now some random people are coming to drink on my base LOL

Love the idea of this mod so thanks for it, but seem to be some issues for me

The first one is that it seems to add some sort of ambient "human" sounds which are audible through out the base. Is there a way to turn of this ambient sound?
It includes things like coughing and sighing and ummm and uhhs and so on.

The second is that if I assign people work, they often just move to the right area and stand there. Though didn't completely setup the work stuff so maybe that's why? One thrall does wander from station to station and kneels in front of them, but the others just move to the right area and stand doing nothing..

Thanks for taking the time to update the mod. This is absolutely the best mod for single player C.E. and I don't think I could go back to playing single player without it. :steamthumbsup:

Sorry for the double post. @Ca$hfire, thank you very much for this mod. I was playing for hundreds of hours before using it, and I like that I can reduce my solo PvE resource grind a bit. I play with AoC and EEWA so there's a lot of resources to deal with already lol, your mod is amazing.

I have tested the mod yesterday and today. The material collection 100% works, I have Thralls working and I have resources. The patrolling works, and I saw Training experience building up but haven't fully "tested" the training beyond the progress of the bar.

I have noticed the Thralls have needs from Living Settlements as well, sometimes they wander off from TAA tasks to fulfill a Living Settlement Need, so as long as I have food and rest areas around their general area it's okay, plus even the times I saw them walk off doesn't affect much because I'm still getting a butt load of resources from them and I only had 5 workers.

@Ca$hfire since they announced Living settlement, I thought this mod time is over, but it turns out the living settlement was just for the worker thralls, meanwhile TAA was aimed at combat thralls, so kinda like TAA & LS are completing eachothers, but still TAA has more features than LS, I actually never tried TAA on a worker thrall since the workers follow the LS was afraid TAA & LS will clash on that poo worker thrall making them confused of what to follow, so this mod is staying in my modlist like it or not, thank u for the update.

Thank you a lot @Ca$hfire. Living settlements was an absolutely USELESS update wich ONLY added Npcs walking around, not any kind of new functionality into the game. (For real, your mod should have been the update instead, but your mod is leages better than the update)

If you want, and could, you could try asking or delegating your mod to @Xevyr, hes is a very cool lad who still works on mods and helps a ton when there is a bug or error. (He helped me reach you for this problem exaclty)

I was suprised that there are still people using the mod since i thought that living settlement should have replaced it by now. Anyway as you can geuss i am not an active Modder anymore so i just rebuild (and sunk a couple of hours fixing bugs) with the modkit and pray that everything is working. Obviously i have not tested it extensively as i dont know how conan and the mod works anymore lol.

Can anyone confirm whether this mod still works after the August 19th game patch? I am holding off on letting my game update until I know this mod still works as it has become an absolute essential mod for me and I won't play C.E. if I can no longer use it.

Oh god, the agility training sound that spans your entire base every few seconds is driving me crazy. CREEEAAAK CREEEEAAAK CREEEEAAAK whenever they power draw.

Thanks a million for such a great mod, to me, it is becoming a vital part of the game! Meanwhile, I'm using a PS4 controller to play the game, it is a pity that most of the mod managing UI not support the controllers, it will be great if the the next update can include the relatedq features, thanks guys!

You could add an option for slaves to spar, it would be an interesting option and each spar could increase their level and strength and vitality points

@Imarra3 from what I can tell the General's Desk is just a visual upgrade from the Officer's Desk, it serves the same function.

@ItsYuri I was really hoping if they continued to develop the Age of Heroes they would expand on the Living Settlement system in the same way they expanded on sorcery, treasures, and purges in Age of Sorcery and Age of War and eventually the Living Settlement would function like this mod.

@Briar Feet - This mod is what the "Living Settlement" update should have been. I consider it a core mod beacuse, as Imarra3 said in the previous comment, all of this features should be in the base game. Living settlements is only cosmetic and doesn't provide almost any benefit over gameplay. Sadly the mod makes your game crash if an npc dies in the town area, it just needs a recompile for the current devkit and it would be flawless

Noticed everything updated, hoping this fixes the 'crash on thrall death' bug. Love the mod man, really helps for single player.

The crash only happens if the Thrall is on a settlement and it doesn't crash every time, talked to Xevyr and he pinpointed this mod to be the problem, it just need to be recompiled into the current version.

TLDR: If thralls die/get downed in your settlement with this mod enabled by hostile npcs, there is a high chance the server will crash.

Not the case here, works fine, still learning my way through this, actually came to look for info about setting up Patrols but felt the need to reply to state it does indeed work, we have this and Better Thralls, plus the extension for this mod, and a few other small QoL things.

Does this mod force the thralls to actually work at the workstations seems my thralls just stand there and every few seconds animate for a second and then just keep standing.

Mod seems to be working so far. Havent touched the Militia part yet.
Idling works sometimes I guess.
But is it normal that the thralls are gathering without any visuals of them wielding any tools?
They have the tools in their inventory but they always seem to unequip them.

Works, it's just a matter of finding the correct placement in your modlist and knowing how to use it ingame. Buggy at times but still a good mod.

training works for pets, haven't tested patrol system for them...

@silicate have you tried going into your settings and making sure you have admin rights? under esc > settings > make admin > password > esc and see if there is an admin panel?

I am trying to access the admin UI by opening the console with ` and typing DataCmD TaaOpenAdminUI. I am admin on the server but nothing happens. Can anyone help with that? Thanks
