Nah. They don't even hold for longer, they rout slightly faster than nonformed, on average.

powercreep the game? I had to slap something like +7MD on it just so formation attack stopped being a net negative for you. Without the mod, you can just disable formattack on your cathayan units vs cathay AI to basically always win duels.

but the real question then is, did you test it so that performance doesnt change?
can you test peasants fighting eachother one in formation and one not? they should perform equally with this mod, same goes for elite units I hope, otherwise this will powercreep the game and inbalance cathay

Does vanilla formation attack work the same way as in R2, where units take more losses but can hold for longer?
