Hello ! It doesn't display the quality of item on screen. May it bee possible to add a colored dot that show the colors quality next to the weapon ? ?
( I added the mod Quality Colors Continued )

I'd rather just not use a specific mod or overlook one warning, than switch to RimSort. If it really comes down to it, I'll just switch out the databases. RimPy has so many more features that I actively use. Like for example the color-coding system, that's how I keep track of what group a mod belongs to. Which makes troubleshooting a lot easier. I'm playing with between 500-700 mods active and RimPy works just fine.

@VolatileGlitchAviator - Between the Armor Racks mod that existed long before this one as well as the new Outfit Stands in Odyssey, it hardly seems necessary for me to throw another one into the mix at this point. :)

Hey Aelenna are there any plans to make a mannequin type mod? similar to what this one does but be able to equip armor pieces instead? :D

@irrelevantredundancy - I don't know what to tell you other than that Rimpy has been abandoned for well over a year now and it'll continue to get worse as it isn't getting updates. Most people who need an external mod manager have been moving over to RimSort. :\

I also edited RimPy's database json ( db.json ) locally to remove the dependency, and it's still showing up.

I am still getting the LWM's Deep Storage requirement when using RimPy in 1.6. Is there a way to change that? I noticed in the about.xml there is no mention of 1.6 section the modDependenciesbyVersion . Which makes sense for obvious reasons, but maybe there is something that can be done there?

Don't know if it's a bug or intended but the def for 'WeaponRacks_1Rack' is missing the 'maxItemsInCell' which results in a 3 slot storage even though only 1 is displayed

@mylapqn312 - Yes, it's a known issue! I am looking at it along with some other authors and it may actually be a Unity bug that we just need to work around. Will definitely update as soon as we figure out a solution!

While I'm here, I also noticed a minor rendering issue with the mod's options menu (for the weapon adjustment) - the previews render all over the place or even outside the window when the in-game interface scale is not 1x. It seems not to take the scale into account at all. It's not ruining the mod's experience in any way, but if it's an easy fix, I'd appreciate it! :)

@mylapqn312 - When empty they should have no Beauty, correct! The racks should gain a Beauty value based on the average quality of the weapons stored on it, ranging from -2 for Awful to +5 for Legendary.

@Aelanna Awesome design! I also really appreciate that you included the WeaponAdjustmentDef. One thing I'd love to see added is the ability to adjust the sizeFactor based on orientation as well. :steamthumbsup:

Hi, first off thank you for the amazing mod! I noticed a small bug where the beauty of the weapon racks is -1000 when they are empty, because the average quality of stored weapons is NaN. Only noticed now cause I put one in my barracks and suddenly everyone was in a bad mood :D

@prx - Mods are never 100% safe to add as they can cause things like hash-compressed grids to be altered, but you can use mods like Mid-Save Saver to mitigate potential issues.

The racks accept all types of items, which can lead to unintended behavior.
I believe I can fix that myself for my game, but that is something you might consider for a future update.

I fixed it! It turns out that museums mod turned off the racks, when i placed them both at the end of my modlist (first this mod, then museums mod) it started working properly

I have deep storage installed and i dont have these racks in my "storage" tab. There are also apparently no errors during installation and destruction of the racks or booting up the game. Can this be because i have both lwm's deep storage and adaptive deep storage installed?

@Levardio - If you have Deep Storage installed (which is a required dependency for this mod), then all shelves get moved to the Storage tab. If it's still not working when built normally, then I need an error log.

for me, weapon racks dont show up in the building meny (i have researched complex furniture) and when i spawn a minified version them through dev mode and place them down they cant be interacted with

@g0jira - The mod options have rotation options for this exact reason. The right-side column lets you set the exact rotation offset in both horizontal and vertical orientations.

i love this mod, but when using bigger guns like sniper rifle, they are made by modders drawn at an angle, so weapon on rack is also at angle, any way to make additional option to rack? in addition to vertically and horizontally? like 45 degree

Hello. Is it possible to make your MOD compatible with "LWM's Adaptive Deep Storage"? If it's just switching the parent-def, then I could do it on my own by creating a LWM...-Dummy MOD with a translation Def.

Hi, the About.xml doesn't containt <loadAfter> <li>LWM.DeepStorage</li> </loadAfter>. Adding it will fix RimSort sorting. Can you add it please? :)

@Branok I had this issue but after moving the mod lower in the load order (lower as in farther down in the list using RimSort) the weapons are displayed again.

@Sumatris Easy fix, its deep storage. Go to mod options/lwm scroll all the way to to experimental, find the 1-2-3-4 weapon racks, increase mass to whatever :)
