Happens A LOT on several of the "Rome" mods, that are simply too large with simply too many events.... though it can happen in vanilla too.
Maybe some places have them? But the AI is usually too stupid to take them down propper.
I remember playing a few versions of Geko with gates in em too. Really helps out the defenders since their ranged units can actually do something.
But in general, it is not very difficult to conquer a castle, but defending can be a pain sometimes. At least in my opinion.
If you start the game, go to configure- and enable(maybe disable) the option 'Load Textures on demand'.
In my case did that work and I can play the mod again.
Only high-ranking, mounted samurai wore them to protect themselves against arrows.
Or do you mean the kimono that some low level samurai wear in this game?
I think I'll just make due with conquering my way there from Palestine in Yavuz Sultan Salim
