I'm hoping to get some help as i'm unable to use the subworlds in the stars above in multiplayer. me and my buddy have about 40 mods including calamity infernum, stars above, advanced world generation (slightly larger world) BUT the subworlds work just fine in singleplayer.

the error im getting when joining or after attempting to go into a subworld is: "System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object." right before the recipes load. Meanwhile, my game is stuck on a loading screen "backing up Player File". after which ill get booted to the main world after about 2 minutes.

I can send the whole log if necessary, i'd appreciate if there's anything i can do to make this work on the server, thanks.

heads up that using the "Current" mod call doesn't just return null when in the main world but also causes an error log

iv used both infernum and WOTG in the same world before and it worked perfectly fine so i dont know what wrong now. also the game dosnt crash when trying to load them, it just wont let me enter the portal.

is anyone ells having an issue were the subworld wont even work period? i tride going into a portal for infernum and wrath of the gods and nither of them worked.

Heya, so, every time I enter or exit a subworld, it resets the player map for the main world, and I have to re-clear the fog of war. Is there any way to prevent this?

Hello, big fan of the work youre doing here! I came to report another instance of the same problem some people were having not too long ago, my boss checklist progress seems to have been partially reverted after leaving the Lost Colosseum and I seem to not have received the relic drop from defeating the bereft vassal. Seems like sometime around Jan somebody also using infernum and/or wrath of the gods and reported the same issue

This mod doesn't cache anything, but Steam Workshop is notoriously weird when it comes to managing subscribed mod updates and such.

my friend got stuck at "Receiving Tile Data: Complete" loading screen even when he restarted the game multiple times hes still stuck there every time he joins the world

From what I've heard, Wrath of the Gods and Infernum have a strange interaction together that massively slows down the game. I believe both mods are aware of the issue.

Why is it that when I turn on the "SubWorld" mod, I experience drawdowns from 90-100 fps to 30-40 fps? Moreover, drawdowns occur only with this mod, but I can't turn it off because the Calamity Rage of the Gods and Infernum mods only work with it.
How can this be fixed?

I found that this error still seemed to be around 1/2 weeks ago and afaik there haven't been any updates yet

Yeah if I heard correctly Infernum didn't set up its data transferring properly, and I thought they put out a patch?

not sure this is a subworld bug but yes, progress made in the lost colosseum is separate from the main world, for example if you beat the vassal and go back to the main world than run a check on the variable that tracks its defeat then that variable will say that you never fought it

Possible bug: After enabling Infernum Mode and Wrath of the Gods, entering a sub-world (Desert Arena) causes the game progress to regress, manifested by the disappearance of markers in the boss checklist, the reduction in the number of Thorin bookshelves, etc. Hopefully it will be fixed soon.

I'm having issues with activating the terminus with this mod active; I've disabled cloud saves as the error message describes, but the terminus is still entirely unusable (playing with the nameless deity mods)

When entering a subworld, all the bosses from Calamity appear as if they were never defeated. The thing is, it does affect progression—for example, the Community accessory gets weakened since the progression resets to zero. I don't know what could be causing this.

Oh, the subworlds are probably temporary and don't save, which is intentional.

That's pretty odd then. I did some multiplayer testing with just the stars above installed, Hosting directly through the game menu. We used hero's cheet sheet in order to expedite the testing by spawning necessary items for full access to the subworlds.

We both visited several subworlds alone or together, and it all worked quite well however there's no sign of any subworld files or directories anywhere in the My Games directory. I was as thorough as I could be but the only relevant files I could see were the core world files. (sabovetest.wld, sabovetest.twld).

Is there any other information I can provide that could help pin this issue down?

My Games is the directory, they're with the rest of your worlds!

Hey, where can I find the directory for a subworld? in my case I'm looking for the subworlds generated by the stars above. Looked in common places like appdata, documents/mygames and steamapps, couldn't quite figure it out sadly.

It seems like Calamity: Infernum is making the call, because the previous and following lines refer to Infernum mod. I just tried disabled Boss Checklist and I'm still getting stuck on the receiving tile data loading screen.

Hmm. Can you make a backup of your world and test what happens without Boss Checklist? Also, what mod is making the invalid call to BC?
