Hey there!
The "study the Grand Archotech Structure" step in the second quest just doesn't get completed ever. My colonists constantly study it, I got an alliance with the required faction and I've been in that area for around a year.

The mod should be working for 1.5. After selecting a tile for the new colony that will have the archonexus structures for parts 1 and 2, the map will be completely fogged over until you send a caravan there.

If you change line 194 in QuestParts.cs to

Current.Game.DeinitAndRemoveMap(map, false);

and recompile, it seems to work in 1.5. At least, I received the Alternate Archonexus quest and there are no errors in the log. (I don't see a repo anywhere to submit a PR or I would)

Hi, thanks for this great mod. Just have a question, if I play mechanitor, will this alternate quest reset summoned mech boss wave count like the vanilla one?

Would it be possible to add the ability to sell bases infinitely and optionally reset research to use this as a way to do similar to "new game pulse"

there should be an option in the dev mode menu to trigger events, there should be one to start the alternate archonexus quest
strange that it isn't triggering though, it worked fine in my most recent game

Yeah I was planning on keep on playing with the ones that don't ascend like I did with the spaceship ending. I guess I was just hoping to be able to get to the last part of this modded quest given that I already have the map pieces and the location of the Archonexus so there is no point in getting the parts/map again. Still cool mod, I'll use it whenever I wanna get that ending again :)

Get which quests to match? The alternate archonexus quest is completely separate from the standard one, and it shouldn't send you to the main menu after activating the archonexus (you should be able to continue playing)
With both though, any colonists you send to the archonexus will be lost - this is how the archonexus works (they are ascending)

If I already sold my colony twice and have the archonexus in the map and ready to go, is there a way to get the quests to match so I don't have to go through the whole thing again? I didn't know I couldn't keep playing with my pawns once I completed this and found out by doing it :(

Currently there is no option to reform the ideology at the point of selling the colony
I figure this makes sense if you have multiple colonies already, since reforming would kind of abruptly apply the changes to every other colony (versus the default which only applies to a handful of colonists)
but I wouldn't be opposed to adding the option

Do you have other mods installed at all? I ran a test with nothing else but harmony and did not get the error
I am not sure if something would have changed with how the base game handles description grammars, otherwise I don't know if there is much I can do

Okay, so did the same again, just added the mod, started a new colony, and once the quest popped up, i got the grammar error again. I don't know what else to tell you.
Not sure how another mod could cause a bug with the description.

Loaded the mod mid-game as i mentioned i'd try. Beyond that, i could give it a try in a couple of days when i start a new colony, i'm VERY close to endgame, just wish to try a few more things :P

Grammar bug reported - might be an update was made recently that changes some of these things, and an update to this mod is now needed

You should be able to get the quest again after it is fully completed, but it might not show up immediately
I'm not exactly sure though since I did not test this case
