That is sad. Simulated mechanical things would be really useful, as what ever physics engine Unity has, sucks.

it did used to work, after an update they dont seem to work anymore
there was actually unused gear manager or behavior and shit in the game which allowed the gears to semi-work when you dropped a gear onto another then pinned it on the wall or some object

What is there to fix in these? They seem to work just like a regular circle, maybe with extra friction.

jase, he way gears work is that their "neighbor" will always turn the opposite direction, so if you spin the first ger clockwise, the second gear will turn counter-clockwise. now if the 1st gear has a gear on the left and a gear on the right, the gears that are on the sides of the first gear will both spin the opposite direction of the first gear. Let (>) represent a gear spinning clockwise and (<) represent a gear spinning counter-clockwise, it would look something like this: (>)(<)(>)(<)(>)(<)

if the sound is getting to your head install a quality of life mod that has a "mute" power, then mute the gear. if it doesnt work try another mod with the same thing
