Believe it or not, I only just figured this out on a play session an hour ago... Must have missed it a few times on reading over the manual. Many thanks!
- at least one die must be assigned to the primary target
- other targets must be adjacent to any other target - and, of course, all targets must be in your line-of-sight and range. You can, however, decide to assign a die to an empty space, to be able to then assign another die to an enemy adjacent to that space.
So, in order to kill two Grunts, you need to roll a hit on at least 2 separate dice, and the Grunts have to be either adjacent to each other, or separated by only a single hex.
The Gunner's minigun. If you have 2 grunts ahead of you and you roll 2 damage, can you spread that between the grunts or just onto a single target with another roll needed for the second?
Done it the latter way up until now, costs a fair deal of ammo but it's manageable :3
