Without opening it up, how did you address the turret to get it to turn? attachto and referenced a specific vehicle part?
Yes the US uses slat armor but they don't build cages for their crew to get stuck under around their turrets...
And in the initial use the cages truly were cope cages since they have been tested to no be able to defeat Javelins with enough probability. Further more Javelins most likely impact the tank at a 45 Degree angle making most of the cages pure drone dropped grenade protection.
There are larger cages that encase the whole vehicle to protect from Lancet etc. Those do work as shown by multiple failed drones caught and photographed hanging in said cages.
One of the issues of fully encasing your tank in cages or netting is that you will block any exit route for the crew, visibility of sensors and of the tank commander if turned out.
Of cause most of the cages also increase the silhouette of the tank itself.

Merci ;)
On the internet.
10/10 will happily download again!
Keep the meme-worthy mods a flowing!
The Ukrainians aren't the ones putting Cope Cages on their tanks, now are they?
Cope harder, and maybe Saint Javelin will spare you.
Bombarded by multiple cia/ukraine/russian pop up youtube accounts recycling footage for today.
Sit down and realise that they turned your instant gratification feed off and you are now mainlining .gov disinfo.
Have fun.
