Thanks to the mod’s author!

They solved the problem of upgrading train stations — and not just that.
Instead of spending minutes or even hours, it took me literally seconds to upgrade my entire network! And everything works perfectly.

What’s great is that you can also upgrade roads, bridges, and more — except for some specific segments (in my case, bridges where a station, bridge, and tracks intersect).
Other than that, everything is just excellent.

It’s really strange that the developers didn’t think of this themselves — and that this mod isn’t among the top downloads in the Steam Workshop.
I guess some people just enjoy having problems and spending hours fixing them 🤷‍♂️

That would be great. I've noticed theres an issue where you can either upgrade all tracks to highspeed, or none. Which stinks cuz I'd like to upgrade some tracks to a specific modded type, but cannot without upgrading every section of rail in the map.

Out of curiosity, would it be possible to make a downgrade version?
Because i'm a sucker for the old railroad stations and signals.

I LOVE THIS MOD...but can you make it where we can click on the icons for Roads instead of looking through a drop down menu as some of us have multiple road packs and can't find the one we need to replace with just the name and only know it by the icon.

Why it doesn't work for me? I really don't know what i am doing wrong, the function within circle always gives me message "no segments were found" while clearly that's not the case, and I managed to use the global once to upgrade bridges, it said 45 segments were upgraded, yet they hadn't in the game, seriously what am I doing wrong

These global changes.............great idea and seems to be well implemented. I have only tested a little tho.
Are you charged for the upgrades, as you would be if you are doing them manually..? They seems to be free...?

Not a big deal but I see the icon at the bottom of the UI to activate the mod but each time a game is loaded it defaults to being open.

Just another report (bump) for the signal upgrade. You're upgrading two-way signals to one-way. Don't do that. And the signals change directions, which breaks everything. So the upgrade signals funciton is completely broken (still). Otherwise great mod.

Could you add me please? I am trying to implement the combobox seen in the street upgrade menu for track / rail upgrades as there is many out there using rail mods.

Bug: Upgrading train, signals causes total failure of routes and trains stop. It seams to flip the direction of one way signals.

Also, electrifying tracks fails to electrify train depots.
Also, electrifying tracks fails to electrify all rails in a rail yard that is not a standard layout. If I manually add rails to a rail yard, the global upgrade tool won't electrify those tracks.

I have found that while trying to upgrade signals on dual track that it is making the signals both one-way and facing the same direction. Would it be possible to add a pull for choosing the signal type.

As of beta version 35029, the pull down list for street type/track type choosing is not working. The mod button in the game also causes the entire app to crash without generating a CTD error.

I dunno if it is related, but I found some strange instability with this addon / script.
If you click on the "Global Upgrade" button a couple of times, the game freezes and CTD's shortly after to the desktop.
I tried this with Global Upgrade as the only mod enabled and could replicate the behaviour.

I'm having issues electrifying the stub in a depot using this mod, and if there's some issue/error where you couldn't upgrade normally, the mod won't do it either, maybe the "build anyway" mod might have a solution for that...

Would it be possible to change the "Upgrade to high speed" button to a dropdown menu for upgrading a track type to another like with the roads? This would add the possibility of easily upgrading modded tracks, as those usually don't play nice with the upgrade to high speed tool...

Or maybe not replace the button but add it as another feature?

@lollus thanks for the advice. I have now removed those calls to getEntity.
I have also found the "res.rep" seem to randomly switch between 0 and 1 based causing crashes so I now always get the id using .find(..) as the keys in getAll() may be wrong.
