Not bad but the goths were eastern Germanic, not central Germanic. Gothic is about equally closely related to German as it is to the Scandinavian languages. So it would be even better if they got their own heritage and language.

I second @Archduke of Pjërym on making East Germanic Heritage and East Germanic language, then they can go nomadic government w/ G+ and go on migration to Pannonia or Poland without being too buddy-buddy with Franconians, Bavarians or Thuringians

i think it could be cool if you could make it like lombard where lombard itself is in the latin group but it comes from langobard. I think you should make it where there's an extinct gothic and this culture is crimean gothic or something which has byzantine heritage but still gothic language or whatever. Just an idea.

Can you make an entirely new eastern germanic language and heritage? because that would be imo more historically accurate

instead of being in the Kerch county, it should be in the county above it (Kalos Limen) as thats where the majority of the crimean goths lived and were concentrated there up until the 1600s when they assimilated with the local tatar crimeans. Kerch would had been fully colonized and a greek majority in both start dates with a small crimean goth minority living in the outskirts of towns.

Great work! I know the most optimal way is to edit the history files but you should consider making a version or changing this mod to make these changes via on_actions with on_game_start effects. RICE uses this method to achieve maximum compatibility. Allows you to make these changes without even touching the history files.
