I love you
jmj 27 Aug @ 2:47pm
Thanks for both the fix and the mod!
1trickPwnyta  [author] 27 Aug @ 11:12am
Genies and look changes are fixed now (I'm pretty sure...)
Also @jmj the startup error should be gone.
1trickPwnyta  [author] 25 Aug @ 9:49am
@jmj Thanks! I'll look into it soon.

Hi, running without Biotech gives the following errors:
Could not resolve cross-reference to RimWorld.MemeDef named Bloodfeeding (wanter=associatedMemes)
Could not resolve cross-reference to RimWorld.MemeDef named Bloodfeeding (wanter=requiredMemes)

@crystal-hunter Thanks for finding that! You should be able to access the log file by going to options and then open log folder.
crystal-hunter 23 Aug @ 8:03am
Hello, I found the problem was a compatibility issue with 1t Anomaly and Mechanoid Upgrades - Anomaly
crystal-hunter 23 Aug @ 6:49am
because I can't open new windows, I can't open logs myself.
1trickPwnyta  [author] 22 Aug @ 7:22pm
@crystal-hunter There should be an error in the log when that happens. Would you be able to provide that?
crystal-hunter 22 Aug @ 5:09pm
it seems to me that this is not the reason, but for some reason it is the addition of this mod that causes the error.
crystal-hunter 22 Aug @ 5:07pm
as I understand it, the interiors of the new windows are missing. the game is playing and I'm changing the speed, but opening new windows doesn't work (even esc) and logs
1trickPwnyta  [author] 22 Aug @ 4:42pm
@crystal-hunter Thanks for letting me know! Which interface is it that disappears? Is there anything in the log?
crystal-hunter 22 Aug @ 4:24pm
after updating OTHER mods, this mod breaks the controls. The interface disappears
Alma_S 17 Aug @ 11:18am
thanks for clarifying!
1trickPwnyta  [author] 17 Aug @ 10:08am
@Alma_S This is a known issue with the bald gene and look change desired when your ideo doesn't allow baldness (and other situations). I plan to fix it eventually but for now the fix would be to just dev mode edit your ideo to allow baldness.

That update fixed the look changed desire so that it can happen now, but there is the aforementioned known issue. Negative apparel desire allows you to have preferred apparel in your ideo that has a negative effect, such as torture crown, and your pawns won't have to be manually forced to wear them. They'll put them on on their own.
Alma_S 17 Aug @ 9:19am
my starjack is having an infinite loop of style changing because my ideology doesn't allow being bald. i guess biotech disabled "look change desired" for a reason, even though i still love that mechanic. also, what does "Fix the "Look change desired" mechanic with Biotech enabled and add negative apparel desire feature" do in one of your updates? is it supposed to address my current issue...?
Турбокишмиш 15 Aug @ 3:23am
Nah guys, y'all wrong, it's actually the tits which should be covered first. Use your logic
Useless Lesbian 5 Aug @ 1:27pm
i think people on the rim have bigger issues to worry about than seeing or exposing a boob, personally
Gerewoatle 5 Aug @ 11:48am
Anon - I think the colony will survive the satanic, society-destroying depravity of topless women.
Anon 5 Aug @ 11:31am
- Sets the default physical love precept to free so that people can have premarital sex like they did before Ideology.
- Sets the default female clothing requirement for ideologies to groin covering only, as it is for men.

Do you see how the second doesn't follow the same standard as the first one? Every default precept should be according to the "Classic Rimworld" ideology. So pants and shirt for women.

@That one watermelon OMG lol thank you! I kinda want to leave it like that because lol but I should probably fix it so people don't get confused.
That one watermelon 21 Jul @ 8:20am
Minor spelling mistake, moost boost lol
Futstub 13 Jul @ 12:44pm
Ah ok, got it, thanks! :)
1trickPwnyta  [author] 13 Jul @ 10:13am
@Futstub The run wild mental break. It doesn't make sense for a slave to be able to just leave by their own free will to live in the wild.
Futstub 13 Jul @ 5:49am
"Slaves can no longer run wild."

What does this mean?
Crazy Cat Gentleman 3 Jul @ 8:27pm
awesome, can confirm that it's fixed. thanks!
1trickPwnyta  [author] 3 Jul @ 8:09pm
@Crazy Cat Gentleman Oops! Dumb mistake on my part. I just updated the mod with a fix for that. Nice catch!
Crazy Cat Gentleman 3 Jul @ 6:50pm
it seems that when goodwill with another faction is 100, at least some events that increase goodwill will wrap it around to -100 and cause the faction to become hostile. this happens in both Rimworld 1.5 and 1.6. I podded some gifts to the "rough pig" faction to get the goodwill to 100 and then performed a ritual with "nearby faction goodwill" as the possible outcome, and when the ritual is good enough to trigger that outcome, the pigs go to -100 and are hostile.
I'm blind as ♥♥♥♥ 13 Jun @ 5:03am
I remember the "look change desired" disappearing at some point and didn't think much of it, just that it was gone like the mood debuffs pawns would suffer from not doing a yearly ritual in time. Not that i really miss either of those, just thought it was weird
1trickPwnyta  [author] 9 Jun @ 5:11am
@Nishe I'm going to see if I can fix that in the next update.
Nishe 9 Jun @ 3:29am
I like the look change thing but yeah, had to turn it off for the same reason as @Nem. My genie crafter constantly running across the map to the styling station in an attempt to force her genetically bald head to grow hair was no bueno.
1trickPwnyta  [author] 28 May @ 6:13am
@Nem You're right. Biotech changed it so that if their current look matches what their genes say then they won't want a look change. This mod changes that so they will still want a look change if their look doesn't match their ideology.

But this does lead to some pawns, such as those with the no hair gene, to have hard conflicts between their ideology and their genes that cannot be resolved, so they will permanently desire a look change and periodically attempt to change their look at a styling station to no avail. This probably isn't the best solution, but of course you can disable this feature in the mod settings if you like.
Nem 28 May @ 12:28am
I think the reason why look change desired was removed in Biotech is because certain genes also cause restrictions on appearance, and they don't stack well. I currently have a pawn with the "no hair" gene wanting to change his hairstyle. Sorry bud.
Cockylida 1 Apr @ 11:49pm
Great mod. I have one additional suggestion- make drugs the pawn has a genetic dependency on (from Biotech) count as medical for the drug use precept.
Amroth 28 Mar @ 7:04am
Well, I take my comment back. It appears all changes are optional and can be changed in mod settings.
Amroth 27 Mar @ 2:41pm
Not sure why default female clothing requirement was changed, it made total sense the way it was. I don't know many cultures where women would feel totally comfortable going topless on a dangerous planet with pirates, bandits and cannibals, lol.
The_Last_Mando 18 Mar @ 5:00am
Any chance you could add the "load saved ideology" to the fluid option when setting ideology?
Cause right now only the fixed one has that option:steamfacepalm:
Taemaly 31 Jan @ 3:11pm
Thank you for bringing back look change desired . really missed it
Temmaki 23 Nov, 2024 @ 12:47pm
Thank you so much for this Patch it helped my Colonist be more move faster without them complaining about the light being too bright
femoral2 10 Nov, 2024 @ 6:28am
@1trickPwnyta, Yes please, you are very good at removing minor annoyances with your tweaks
1trickPwnyta  [author] 31 Oct, 2024 @ 3:49pm
@Futstub cool, sounds good! I only currently have two DLC patches on steam. This one and anomaly. I plan to release mods for the other two DLCs in the future.
Futstub 31 Oct, 2024 @ 12:54pm
Honestly, I just didn't remember if there were hauling dryads in vanilla... :>

But hey, cool, I will definitely use all of your DLC patches mods in my next playthrough! Can't hurt to bring a bit of logic to the rim... :]
1trickPwnyta  [author] 31 Oct, 2024 @ 10:10am
@Futstub Yes, every tweak has a setting you can disable. I probably should specify in the description that this doesn't prevent hauling dryads from hauling. It only prevents dryads from wandering away from the tree when they aren't doing some kind of work. Although I have no idea how hauling dryads from VE differ from vanilla hauling dryads and what that might mean in the context of this mod.
Futstub 31 Oct, 2024 @ 7:37am
Are there mod settings to turn certain ones of these off?

I have much interest in my dryads going outside their tree radius, because I mostly use the ones that haul from VE... :)
1trickPwnyta  [author] 24 May, 2024 @ 5:48pm
@Rokk and @Dark Demon Summoner You're both right, it was not a bug. I have removed that feature from the mod. Thanks for letting me know.
Rokk 22 May, 2024 @ 12:28pm
"Fixes bug where some pawns (genies?) think they have an artificial part when they don't, cancelling the mood penalty from the Flesh Purity meme."

That's not a bug, that's intended. It might be disliked and it might make Flesh Purity a bad pick without this mod, but it's still intended. Genies' xenotypes consist of xenogerms and xenogerms count as artificial enhancements. Same with Sanguophages and Highmates. Yttakin aren't bothered because those are endogenes.

And just as I typed this out I saw this was already mentioned.
CrackaJack 8 May, 2024 @ 1:58am
dammit and i find this now, after years of suffering
Pazik 26 Feb, 2024 @ 5:53pm
Bloodfeeder currently needs cannibalism: acceptable or preferred.
Is there any way that you could make a precept, "cannibalism: bloodfeeder only"
Which would allow for butchering, but only bloodfeeders will eat the meat?
Dark Demon Summoner 1 Jan, 2024 @ 1:50am
The one with the mood debuff on Genies for example is no bug it is about a xenogene. Genie, Highmates and Hussars are races that have no endogenes but xenogenes as standart this counts as not 'pure race' in the Flesh Purity structure because it is a genetic enhancement
1trickPwnyta  [author] 29 Aug, 2023 @ 8:50am
@Solarius Scorch The most recent update fixes a bug in the game where some Flesh Purity believing pawns complain about having an artificial part installed when they don't.
