rimsort says this mod is incompatible with the main embrasures mod, is this a bug or is it being accurate

I know you have already replied to someone else asking for this, just wanted to say yeah that would be nice.

I would like gravship embrasures as well. Tried to build 'gumports' for my turrets because they were just too big to put on the outside without making it look awful, failed miserably. I don't know how hard it is going to be as I can't code, but it would be sweet if we can get a grave ship variant that does the angled hull thing if placed on the edge. It made sense if they don't keep a room sealed, they are big blasted holes in the hull after all, so no need to make them air tight.

Not expecting a vac barrier version, but I guess I could still see it. Could just add grav panels to a recipe to explain air tightness that way too I suppose.

I would be very interested in a gravship embrasure. The lore could be that it uses a one way force shield to prevent air from escaping and you could make them cost an advanced component. For now I was planning on downloading this mod and using them to create outside bunkers that will be manned with vac suited colonists.

Since putting Storage and Solar Panels on external Gravplates works pretty well,
I am considering to put a Gundeck with Embrasures on my Gravship.
Having a secure pressurized space inside, with Turrets and Mortars reachable outside.

The standard embrasure is currently blocking light sources. I'm pretty sure it's no intentional as it's the only one missing the <blockLight>false</blockLight> tag that the other ones have.

Considering that a gravship's hull has to be airtight, how exactly would embrasures work? It'd be like putting a screen door on a submarine.

Enabled embrasures for Vanilla Factions Expanded – Medieval 2, Vanilla Furniture Expanded – Architect, and ReBuild: Doors and Corners on RimWorld 1.6.

Notes:
ReBuild: Doors and Corners currently throws errors when the Odyssey DLC is not installed or enabled. This is a known issue and is expected to be fixed by the maintainers soon.

@irrelevantredundancy this mod already includes the content from Rebuild: Embrasures. Do not use both at the same time. An incompatibility tag has been added in the latest update.

Hello -- I see that Rustic Embrasures from Rebuild: Doors and Corners is mentioned in the description but there is also a separate mod called Rebuild: Embrasures related to that series of mods. How does this compare, and while I'm at it, what about the mod called [HRK] Vanilla Expanded Extra Embrasures too? Do they all contain their own versions of embrasure walls, with different stats and textures?

I'm on 1.6. The normal Embrasures from doors and corners are showing up, all the VE ones are missing though. (Medieval, armored, fine [...])

Update Summary:
- Removed support for RimWorld 1.4 and outdated/abandoned mods
- Added support for 1.6 — currently includes only the Basic Embrasure until other mods update

- Vanilla Factions Expanded – Medieval 2
- Adds Castle Embrasure with the same mechanics as Castle Walls — becomes passable when below a certain health threshold until repaired

- Vanilla Furniture Expanded – Architect
- Armored Wall Embrasure
- Fine Wall Embrasure (requires Royalty DLC)

- ReBuild: Doors and Corners
- Adds Rustic Embrasure for Rustic Walls
- Full texture support so embrasures match seamlessly with their corresponding wall types

@isalcaruz That's part of the vanilla creature/animal behavior and is outside the scope of this mod. However, there are definitely other mods out there that allow creatures to attack doors and walls if that's the behavior you're looking for.

This mod is great but I have a problem with the behavior of enemies in close combat. When I create a sort of bunker or closed area with these defenses and a regular door as an entrance or exit (or completely closed), the enemies don't attack the wall or anything to try to get through. Instead, they just wander around outside the barricade, and the colonists only have to play target practice. The fact that there is good defense against gunfights is great, but any attack from enemies without ranged weapons (vanilla or mods) makes the game too easy. This generally happens with animals and creatures (from mods like the VOID zombies or the necromorphs from the Army of Fetid Corpses). I suppose the normal behavior should be that they charge at the embrasures and try to get through to attack the colonists inside. I don't know if there is a version that makes animal or creature-type enemies attack these walls; if that were the case, it wouldn't feel so broken.

You do not need CE for this mod, it is stated this mod is compatible with CE.

Are the embrasures supposed to split rooms? Because right now it seems like it breaks rooms.

BTW I'm not trying to be annoying, I understand it dose not list CE as a requirement. But CE is mentioned like 10 times on the page and I just wanna be sure it adds all the walls and is fully functional without it. Sorry for the extra post there is no edit button for my last one.
