Try eelcobaas's Terrain River Tool. It's an amazing mod that lets you draw rivers and then give them a perfect slope so the water flows right. I use it all the time on maps I get from the workshop. It fixes all the uneven bits in the channel that cause lumpy water. Combined with your natural talent I think it could make some incredible maps.
