Honestly fair, I've had other projects I've wanted to work on so they've taken a lot of my time up but I haven't forgotten about this. Maybe I should advance this in my priorities because I literally finished a publisher-friendly prototype and it fell by the wayside for a variety of reasons. I just need to actually reach out to people.

Hopefully more characters will be added in the future.

That may be true but aesthetics don't equal mechanics. I've had Sora in mind since launch, but if he's not unique, then there's no reason to run him over a character who fulfils a similar role. Xemnas wasn't just chosen as the test boss because he's a cool dude, he also let us test a lot of mechanics, such as his walls or his copy from KH2. Funny that you mention Xehanort though, I actually have MORE ideas for him as a playable character than I do for Sora haha.

That's an interesting trivia. Xemnas is an awesome boss, xehanorth the more so.

While it's true Sora may not be much different in his possession of skillset with regards to the other heroes in Super Smash Bros, but I believe he should be included because he is after all, the final character being added to the game and represents much more than just a cool hero.

He is like the Superman of the JRPG world, the embodiment of hope, and he is probably the only one capable of uniting all everyone from the smash bros universe. Well, his introduction trailer shows a glimpse of his potential right ;)

I'm willing to discuss if you've got any concerns if you like. Since I really admire that chara.

I want to add Sora, but I'm not quite sure how I want to handle him. Like yeah you have the whole "my friends are my power" thing. So he should be a good team player right? Well, every character should be a good team player. Generally most of the characters I add enable new strategies or combos, so saying Sora should do that isn't a niche in and of itself. Fun fact though, when we were testing the co-op boss mode, we used Xemnas as the boss.

Oh interesting, I’ve never heard of Iconoclash! I mostly used smash as a thematic springboard as OCs has never been my strong suit, but I’ll definitely look into the game as I haven’t seen the plat fighter genre as a board game!

Looking forward to see how this take on Super Smash Bros the board game compares to Iconoclash!

Game's fun, I like it a lot (maybe a little biased but I genuinely enjoy playing)
