using the keybind to open the spawn menu freezes the game more than using the pause menu button. i do have over 300 spawnable mods with possibly 10000+ different items to spawn but i have no idea why the keybind freezes the game but the pause menu one doesn't

it's not clear how game order pause menu buttons and there's nothing I could do to make it pop to front.

not entirely possible, iirc on game's binary levels the script won't get replaced. and it also rely on load order thus would conflict with any mod tried replacing built-in spawn menu as well

can you please add grouping, and maybe when you select an excluded mod it would still give you its contents

Also the key hint for vertical axis "Shift" is the wrong one ^^ It uses loc@SPAWNRE_XAXIS when it should probably be loc@SPAWNRE_SPEEDINC

@YuLun: Could you please change the "Z" binding? Either by making it localized (it is the forward key for some EU keyboards using AZERTY layout, so for those layouts the appropriate key would be "W"), or by using another unused key like "V" instead?

TABS 改碰撞层了,碰撞层没法获取只能修改,我修不了得让TABS适配
我也不能单独给每个TABS载具的碰撞层数据单独开一个数据文件全列出来然后硬写入脚本里面

作者作者,这个模组和TABS模组好像冲突,放置坦克,坦克炮塔就会乱转无法正常使用,希望作者能尽快适配

What does the error message say? nil value?
The logic for that part is identical with vanilla spawn menu (line 391) so it's likely to be a game's API issue

Ok some good news or maybe bad news from another point of view, you can use spawn revisited to spawn TABS vehicles and use them normally. I just confirmed this from several other users.

As I said previously, the spawn logic is identical. So it along won't cause issues. I do doubt some other mods could be to blame however, it's still rather weird if it works for vanilla menu and doesn't for mine.

Mealstrom is right none of the TABS vehicles work with this menu, do you have a fix? you say its the same as vanilla but obviously something is different.

The spawn logic for general spawnable assets is unchanged between vanilla spawning and spawn revisited, you could verify it by comparing both script file.

It is now progressed from some TABS mods not working, to none of them being compatible with Spawn Revisited. Which is a shame, because in comparison with the normal spawn menu, Spawn Revisited is vastly superior.

Yes and this mod used to behave like that. But it won't be able to use in built-in sandbox maps as binary levels doesn't allow script replacement. Solving that problem would be much more difficult and tricky so I simply dropped it.

Any fix for TABS vehicles not spawning correctly? Or is that just an issue that the TABS mod creators would have to fix?

around 100 I think, but initially worked perfectly, but a few days later it broke. I tried to delete all the unnecessary mods but still it has the same problem.

there's a bug, every time I scroll the first column like 1/4, it just freezes the game, it doesn't work literally anything and the only thing I can do to fix it is open task manager and ending Teardown

can you fix the glitch whenever i spawn multiple objects or i choose a object, escape and spawn another object, it disarms me and i have to scroll to get to my tool back

I have a problem: every time I press escape (to close the menu or to abort spawning) the pause menu opens up. Is there any way to fix that?

they're less likely to be used by other mods while not too far away from typing keys for fingers to reach. Most keyboard layouts all have them, unlike the navigation keys we sometimes only have arrows (or use Fn with some key press). You could change that to another key by clicking on that box then press a new key (vanilla functionality)

If you have many spawnable assets then delay is pretty much unavoidable, we have to update search queries and results every time text input changes which results in updating a longer list and it takes some time obviously. I probability have a better approach for this but I don't think it would be better than existing.

But could be result of Windows fullscreen optimization [devblogs.microsoft.com] which might cause delay on some games.

I have no noticeable delays on my pc so I doubt that's less likely to be my mod's issue or limitations of game API function of handling that.

That's not even a functionality of this mod. Saving models made in creative mode is a vanilla feature of creative mode and that functionality have been configured such that it can not be done by any mods (mainly for safety and security reasons)
