Firstly, I just like them (I mean, who would have known after like 350 badges?)
Secondly, they are very flexible. Almost every culture has some type of dragon and I can thus include them pretty much everywhere. Not many other things Ilike have that type of felxability or lend themselves well to car badges. For example, I don't think a badge pack about the political landscape of the 20th century would work that well, though that eastern block pack is definitely coming... (get ready for a lot of pictures of Mao Zedong and Deng Xiaoping)
And then there are things like rollercoasters and drumming which I really like, but I just can't fit into a car badge... maybe like a one off, but that's it.
It's not about putting the effort in, I think everbody could be doing what I am doing. I am not a 3D designer, I use paint to do these.
I just think that no other person would ever think about doing such a thing. Why would anyone else do something like this? Create like 350 dragon themed badges for a niche game?
I would. Thanks what I am doing what I'm doing. I get that they get repetative... I should know... but I just simply want to do it just to say that I have done that. Who else could say something like this about them.
I have no skills in designs, I am just dedicated. I don't even know unreal engine. I just learned anything and probably spent over 100 hours doing this already...

I agree that sometimes I just do something without any effort. There are so many badges that aren't interesting at all or brands that I don't care at all for. I still want to do them because I want to end up with a complete collection. I don't really care what you think of me, but that's my reasoning. I probably will do original badges and such with and without dragon themeing afterwards. But for now I am happy with what I'm doing and will continue to do so regardless of negative feedback (unless it is a recommendation of course)...

Though, I must admit, I don't really know what I'm doing after all. I just do what I like and every time I see a positive comment under something I have done it fills me with intense joy. I don't care about it being downloaded and used by as many people as possible, I just want to do things I enjoy and hope others can find enjoyment in them too.
And if all that fails, at least I will still have the feeling that I did what I wanted to do. I don't want to simply export badges and be reduced to the labour I do, be replaceable, I want to be my own person doing things nobody else is doing instead of just being another person exporting real badges. I appreciate their work, but it is just not for me.

Yeah, it's the former, but also I just don't feel comfortable stealing other peoples designs without adding my own touch...
Overall, I don't think I will do that, sorry.
in truth I just take the OG badge most of the Time and change some things around / Add a dragon related Image/ pun/ etc. Then I use an alpha map generator online to get that and export it to beam with the SDK. That's the easy part btw...
Also, Paint 3D is a bad programm that lags my pc to shit and causes my explorer to break every time...
And Duramax Powerstroke, and even Cummins?
