I am SPOILED by this mod. Our group recently picked up Arcana, which is a lovely mod, but the tables, as beautiful and detailed as they are, are HUGE. We're putting together a station for all that noise, because we're so in love with these tiny tables! Thanks for your work!

I wish there was a version that added. I am fine with some items being larger, but also want some smaller ones for smaller builds! Would love the flexibility. Thank you again for your work :)

Would you maybe consider creating micro versions of the Elithian Race and RPG Growth stations?

I also am on the boat of desiring additional copies of the crafting stations that act as the crafting stations but in mini form, rather than flat out replacing the originals if at all possible.
Even if you say, add a small crafting station shrinking station that has them all in it so you don't clutter other crafting stations with the recipes.
If you could reverse engineer this spriting stuff, shouldn't be too hard to figure out adding new stuff also, right?

Although I was expecting a separate set of crafting stations, one vanilla & one small, this is a very good mod to play with regardless. It really helps with building areas with certain crafting stations while having them be able to blend in with your base, colony, or ship.

Would love to see this and the FU version added as new items rather than replacers, sometimes I like big machines for decorative reasons. Could have another crafting station that shrinks the vanilla ones so you don't need to make any complicated recipes, just craft one than convert it to the other.

@Wakazu, could you create the micro machines as a new item? Or give me permision to do it?

Damn, it would be so good, if it was not a replacer, man. I love the idea, but I also like big machines, where it makes sense, like factories or science posts.

@Doodlinka Just checked it in game and everything is fine. Whatever causes it to glitch for you is on your side, not the mod. Are you sure you don't have any other resprites installed? Like Immirik's Compact Stations, for example?
In any case, try to unsubscribe from my mod, wait for 5 min, and them subscribe again. Starbound doesn't have innate loading order system, so it just loads mods in order they were subbed to. That should put my mod last in order and overwrite whatever mod disrupted the animation.

@Jarre No idea, I don't play betabound. To think of it - yeah, it should, why wouldn't it? My mod only shrinks the stations, it does nothing to their functionality.
And just in case something does break (doubt it, but again, starbound itself is a bugy mess, so stuff may happen) my mod can be safely uninstalled at any time.

@komi shark So I'm looking at those files and... um... what exactly needs shrinkage there? The only crafting station I see is the shop itself, everything else are decorations of some kind.
I'm not playing this mod myself, so a bit of added guidance would be much appreciated

@Pukitaki Oh, and it's a resprite, so all instances of the affected stations will receive new graphics, not just the ones you make. So if there are already stations in your builds and you subscribe to my mod, all of them will shrink down too.

@Pukitaki No, it wont crash and you can turn it on and off any time you like, so if you find new graphics not suiting you taste, you can just unsubscribe and everything would be back to vanilla. If you unsub, some stations that were placed close together may overlap, but that won't break anything - just reposition them and you'd be good to go.
Also if you find my shrink therapy a bit on the extreme side, you might wanna try Immirik's Compact Stations, it's a bit outdated, but it still works just fine, my mod takes inspiration from there.
And yes, you can use just the base mod, FU addon depends on the base because some stations receive further upgrade in FU, like apothecary and furnace. However these further upgradeable two can cast some issues, since their FU-upgrades would be bigger than their vanilla grades, so you might experience some overlap. In this case, repositioning should work as well.

I want to get this for my vanilla tables, but have a couple of questions... One, does it only work for new characters/universes? Will my game crash if there are non-compact versions of these workstations already in my various worlds?
Secondly, I play with FU, but I actually like a lot of the bigger FU workstations. Can I just subscribe to this and only affect my vanilla stations while leaving the FU ones alone?

@Cyasi Do you mean "addon", like my addons for FU, Outpost and ES? Since, you know, mods already work that way - they only change stuff if you instal them XD
And if you meant that, then sure, making it an addon to the main mod is the only sane way of doing it. I'm not gonna bloat my base mod with every possible edit of every possible mod people play and then get burried under complains of my mod lagging people's games to oblivion because of all the missing checkups.

@Wakazu Yes the animations are really nice, the author put a lot of effort in this. Maybe a smaller feature-mod would be the best solution for this? So the converters would only be smaller if someone (me :)) actively install the mod then.
Would love it this way, if you want to put the extra effort in this.

@Cyasi Reduce alchemic converters? Ok, I'll see about that. Those are nicely animated tho, so reducing their size would come at the cost of losing some of that moving charm.

@the incredibly stupid one In the making already. Altho not much there to shrink, the stations are pretty compact as they are. I'm redrawing them from scratch most of the time, so that won't be released any time soon. Next month or so, perhaps.

@eevee. Shrunked both the anvil itself and all three addons, also added previews for all my edits, so you can check the new anvil graphics there as well. Don't forget to update the mod and enjoy.

The T3 anvil's add-ons were shrunk in the former Compact Stations mod since it takes an unnecessary amount of space.

If you could implement that in this mod, me and everyone who thinks the same will appreciate it
