Really? I'm still waiting for his update...
Author, there are way too many soviet tanks spawning in, especially in the last line of defense. The major issue this causes is massive clogging of the battlefield with tank wrecks, so eventually the enemy has a corridor of debris to charge you from whilst there won't be a lot of fighting back from your AIs, since their "view" will be obstructed.
As for my personal tastes, I think there's too many units under player control. Considering how little ammo we're given, and that we have to juggle crewing and positioning artillery, AT guns and tanks all at the same time, I was completely overwhelmed by the second objective. I'd prefer to have the AI man the AT guns, or to have artillery call-ins instead of the guns themselves, and to have a bit less infantry considering there's not a lot of cover to put them in.
Thanks for reporting. I've changed the status of the maxim that you said.
I've looked into that problem and I did some fixes to optimize. But I think most of the problem comes from the game engine, since their is a period when too much units spawn at the same period. Sorry for the inconvenience. I'll keep an eye out and find some solutions.
All the units in this mission has an immortal period of 5 seconds since they have to enter the battlefield after they spawn. If I make them mortal, they may be a chance that they would stuck at the outside of the map. Sorry for the inconvenience.
I guess its the game engine who limitating the hardware usage or something.
Ive noticed when i change the settings from low tho high, thers no difference in performance.
Exactly which part does the fps goes down to 20-30?
I
Only nitpick though is that it's hard to determine what year this "battle" took place. You have t-28s fighting alongside IS-2's, and super early war short-barrel StuGs fighting next to late war panthers. It's something that's not really reflected in actual fighting. I also don't recall seeing any IS-2 1945 variants. Only 1943.
