Error in Portal, assembly name: PortalLibrary, method: CommandDelivery:GizmoUpdateOnMouseover, exception: System.MissingMethodException: Method not found: void Verse.GenDraw.DrawFieldEdges(System.Collections.Generic.List`1<Verse.IntVec3>)
other then that, great mod!
A:No, that would be a bit too powerful, so we set a limit. WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYY
This could be because I'm using modded power cables that are underground/invisible? Maybe?
Most people don't know what that is, but it'd still be cool. :P
Nice work, really like the mod. I wanted something to replace the portal from "Rimworld of Magic" but for tech-themed playthroughs. So far works like a charm and it's only 1 of 3 mods in all of rimworld (that I could find) that do something like this. Of the three I like this one the most for tech-based play:
There is also Beam me Up Scotty but it is more complex, it has work types and some heavy animations for tp pads that are less attractive to me than this simpler solution. Keep it up, my only suggestion would be to add it into a tech tree but other than that it's perfect
You can teleport between different maps!
The mod author is technically correct in the description but ill admit I was confused too at first.
You have to install two portals on the same map and then link them. Once this is done you can uninstall one of them and carry it with the caravan. Once you get to a new map you can install the portal and use it to go back to the linked portal back at your base.
What you cannot do is "directly" link two portals on different maps IE portals not previously linked on the same map.
Hope that clears it up =P
"You can also uninstall a linked portal and install it on another map, so that you can easily teleport across maps"
Q:Can a portal directly connect to another portal outside the map?
A:No, that would be a bit too powerful, so we set a limit.
Also the main image of the make it believe that the portal would transport materials between maps, which was what I was looking for, which it does not.

So can you port from one map to another or not?
