Think i might of found the issue, under club information in the editor, there was a Maximum age selected which im sure caused the issue of not being able to retain players past 21/22, have yet to play test it myself but will certainly post here the results.

Interested in playing this. Judging by the comments though that will only happen if I can play 22 year olds and over. I'm fine with only signing youth but the idea is that they grow into amazing talents. Someone let me know when that happens.

the problem also is other clubs cant buy players over 21 so its not point playing past first season

mate, its great but as soon as players reach 22 they cant play, this needs changing, you should be able to keep player till what ever age but not be able to buy over 21s. Like this after each season you lose alll the top player.

Once a player turns 22 he is no longer eligable for my team! That needs changing

you click on file and on settings, then you search on Football Manager 2014 Editor. download the editor. then you can search on youtube (how to make a club on Football Manager 2014/2013).

How can i edit my own club? I want to build a completely new team with the name of my hometown
