Had a lot of fun playing Khetal with Arisen in combination with Blood Jackals. Bloodlust, Midas touch and they murdered everything.
Great Mod, a little op but thats ok.

I tried out most workshop factions at this point and even the OP ones aren't as fast as this faction. Breaking out in week 1 and bum rushing the enemy is too easy. Fights that are rated impossible are easy wins. Well designed and yet so Powerful it boggles the mind. Yet I wouldn't say it's the units that need nerfing. It's the heroes that are too good. Putting estates and mastery on all of them takes this faction way over the top. Everything should be way more expensive and have less growth per week. At week 2 I easily had over a dozen heroes and when they all have Estates + mastery + taxpayer units I didn't need to build econ buildings. Immortality on your line units is just obnoxious because you never take casualties even on harder fights unless you're wiped completely. Limbo does the same thing but only works 20% of the time. Rebirth only works once. Either would be better than immortality.

I'm sure i'm not the only one, but this faction just wiped 3 armies that ranged from challenging to easy when compared . Like the screen for my last army which showed this should be an easy fight is a huge blue blob filled with frogs among other things.

How do you get workshop mods to show up ingame?

I know how to install mods manually and get them to work.. But workshop mods don't show up anywhere in the option menu.?

i'd say moonfire, blood blade, and sandstorms are the key ones that need nerfs mainly for my frames and the spam

On starting a new game, it actually looks like a faction called "Delirium" got added to this mod, and replaced the Oasis faction in my saved game.

Yeah, this faction is well designed and all BUT its wayyy too overpowered :D Too crazy abilities, like sphinx's stupid sandstorm ability, emmm because he can spam it... it trivializes everything along with priestesses and their moonfire abilities, they can use those WAYY too often ;/ if u put a cooldown a BIG one on those abilities then this might work :)

This Faction needs a nerf in many aspects. I get the Idea of it but in terms of Balancing they are to strong. I played many matches and it is always this faction who wins at the end.

So i tried pretty much all units by now, umm, Yeah priestesses are by far the most broken things there :D Its their moonfire, i feel it needs to get nerfed and they gotta cast it only maybe... X ammount of times per combat OR decrease their cast rate of moonfire HUGELY because rn all i need is 20 priestesses and i win each and every fight.. ;/ even against red dragons and such :O

Also... sorry for spam but, can u decrease the explosion fx or something from moonfire? :D i have like 20 priestesses and they cause my game to run super slow once moonfire all starts exploding haha :D its crazy :P

I genuinely have no idea if i specced correctly into them and make them broken af... but im taking on impossible fights pretty often with no casualties :D Cool designs and cool ideas , but overtweaked atm ^.^ So far from all units, The Priestesses stole the show for me, their moonfire absolutely obliterates everything against me lmfao :D

Priestesses seem abit too op :D They cast Moonfire too fast, making alot of fights trivial :D i think decreasing their cast rate of that thing would make them really fun, i hvnt checked others yet as im just starting to use them But Priestess i noticed so far are brilliantly op :D haha

Getting the same/similar errors as one previous. That aside, I love this faction mod. Couple of suggestions:

Jackals will probably need a nerf to their base resurrection chance. Stacking them with revive buffs make them unstoppable.

Sentries are very strong, even for their base version. The lightning-type attack that they have makes them the best low-tier unit for early game and almost into the late game. Either remove that attack since they are already a very viable unit, or replace them with the Night Cat in terms of unit tiers. (Oh yeah, Night Cat is pretty weak in my experiences.)

Other than all that, I really do enjoy this mod. Once the bug that is crashing the game is fixed, I may have this as a permanent mod in my load order!

hi im have a one more problem with Oasis mod when im insstal this mod after a day skip all artifact on map guarded by monsters turn into 4 leaf clover and thay have pirate flag ,it is possible to fix this? or maybe only me have this same problem ?

yeah mod is nice i like the hero face specially this one with Cat ears he or she looks really cute :) , the blood Jackals are s crazy same like the priestes spawned this green balls but its in longer battles too many of them and the game start to laging maybe yiu can swith this to spawn units chance this balls only when the sumoned green balls after the sumoned ones die not instantly when they still alive ? and some sspecial buildings in Osais ohh that one thing can be great :) . But the mod is great and with a few fixess can be one from the best im think:) .

It's a very nice mod, no matter the artwork and the gameplay, I love it.
The most funnest thing in the game is it spawn 200-250 green moonball army and giving me a tactical nuke

Blood jackals are crazy. 50 or so of them, are seemingly immortal.

or at least, a 3 times as strong army cant beat em.

the Resurrection/buffing seemingly snowballs to impossible levels...

or at least the 10 minute battle, that was wailing onto them, as they slowely got more and more tanky, before finally overtaking me went that way.

Yeah, Blood Jackals have been stuck on my watchlist for some time and they may get nerfed again. I've been trying to balance Oasis to competitive vanilla factions, which is why things might seem on the stronger side right now. At the same time, keeping things balanced is somewhat contradictory to keeping things competitively viable so there's a whole lot of back-and-forth going on with some unit stats.

Overall though, I do want Oasis to be something that all players can enjoy regardless of if they are a newcomer or a veteran. However, I will say that I've seen and participated in many games that have ended in 1-2 weeks using just vanilla factions so I'll likely refrain from any extreme changes for some time. That said, I do appreciate all the feedback! I'm hoping all these crashes you guys are getting will get fixed soon! :D

I'm compiling all of these crash reports. If I can figure out how to consistently reproduce a few of these, I'll be sure to let the dev know. But if you can spare the time, it'd really be appreciated if you send these to the #bug-reports channel in the Hero's Hour discord server (There's a discord icon in the top-right of the main menu of the game which will link you to the server)

Thanks for the report! I've been unable to reproduce the crash, but there was bound to be a few issues. Sadly, there's not much I can do about these game crashes as a modder. Until it gets fixed, however, I really recommend restarting Hero's Hour before starting consecutive new games or sometimes even before reloading. That has kept things relatively stable for me on my end.
