will this get updated?

THANKS FOR THIS! I can't believe I didn't find this sooner, considering it has been bothering me for ages (I love some good old prison cruelty on rimworld, but come on, there are way better ways than drinking poop) and I was thinking of starting mods just to do this myself. Please, update this as soon as you can. Also, it is made from molasses, but molasses is made from sugarcanes so I think this recipe is great!

Jeeze, rude much? The VFE team haven't finished updating their mods, so mods dependent on them can't get updated. They estimated 4 months to get everything up to date.

When I click on "Choose Ingredient" I can only select Brown sugar.

I don't know how it works. I have sugar, no one put sugar in it. I can't right click on the fermenting barrel with a pawn to do it.

i assume this just needs cooking expanded for the sugar right? thinking of just switching the sugar for the medieval expanded one. I assume this works right?

when the rum is ready my colonists are unable to collect it, why?

I think they just called it rum to fit with the pirate theme of the mod. Personally I think it would have been better to call it grog if they didn't want to make up a new name for it.

I wonder what happened to the VE Pirates devs to make them compare rum to Fremen piss.

what happens with the rum suit now if i dont disable it?

When I originally installed this mod, the rum barrel graphic would rotate when you rotated the barrel itself. Has that been fixed yet?

@T.N.Tobin No, toilet wine isn't made from pee. Prison wine, or pruno, is made from what ever fruits, juices, sugars, and/or bread the prisoner can get their hands on, and left to ferment in a plastic bag hidden in a toilet tank.

Granted, seeing as the flavor has been described as "bile flavored wine-cooler", you might be better off trying to make wine from urine.

I love, love, love your mods cookie. Simple but useful utility mods that I can not only use for my runs but also as reference for making my own personal use custom mods.

Making rum out of sweat might be an interesting preference but I wouldn't consider it rum. :^ )

@ALE199-ITA What do you mean? Both the rum and the rumsuit are in this version. I wasn't able to remove the rumsuit, so you can still produce it in the original way.

I didn't change the Rum itself other than patching the description. It just adds a new barrel that uses the brewing framework to input sugar and output Rum, so it still uses the same sprites, stats, etc.

Do you actually need Pirates as a requirement? Are you using anything from there?

The original rum was intended to fit the idea of space pirates, 3000 years in future, who probably never saw a sugarcane plantation before but needed an ingenious source of nutrition.

I changed it because I don't want my pawns to drink alcohol made of human waste. Everyone can create whatever mod they want; that is the beauty of this modding community.
