I could see about adding those areas back now, since changing all the ceiling lights to props made compiling way less demanding. My PC (or the compiler) couldn’t handle the extra areas on top of the shoddy light placement before.

@egglord you could add some new rooms or complete the map with the "Backrooms Gmod Map" Roblox game parts, but you said that you can't because of the hardware or something like that.

First one is probably a result of the shadow control entity having a max casting distance. For the second one, “cast entity shadows” isn’t enabled for light entities by default. I have it off due to the way light is spread in office buildings: you wouldn’t really have a shadow in most places due to the abundant overhead lighting. It would be an unrealistic (and unnecessary) change that would probably just serve to increase compile time and lag.

I having a player shadowing issue, for one thing it clips off the farther the shadow goes and 2 nt sure it's a bug but isn't all light sources supposed to cast a player shadow?

Oh yeah, I remember that Backrooms video on YouTube. Thank you for the kind of an early nostalgia type Gamer. The year of 2022 was when The Backrooms community is starting to grow on the internet.

where is that secret boiler room on the map? when you scroll through the cameras in the office area, there is 4 cameras. The last camera is pointed at those rotating boiler looking things. L372-A is written on them

Any plans on updating this to include what was in the latest videos of Backrooms - Found Footage #3 and Backrooms - Static Dead End?

Your work is amazing, and I'd say that this is the best rendition I've seen of this in Gmod. I've learned about it from watching Wendigoon, Alex Kister, and Kane Pixels playing it together.
