Revert to adjusted is meant to be used after you make adjustments and press "reset to default". It is meant to return the adjusted values you had before returning to default. However it's not initialised to anything so it has nil values at start. Reverting to nil values causes the bug of getting 40000 miles away.
The options issue sounds like it's something with the resolution not being recoginsed and the text not in the right place. As a workaround I'd just edit the defaults in the code and ignore the options. The options are optional.

I know it's not perfect with the default tools, they apply an offset when you switch to them on top of the default position adjusted by the transformer.
