The effect should immediately be noticeable as it replaces the accelerator entries the dlc_terran_zones.xml file. If it is not working properly, all accelerators in Terran space will not function.

If they are still functioning with the alternate model, then the mod is working.

I cannot make any changes to the mod anymore without breaking existing saves,so unfortunately that cannot be done without making a new mod.

any chance u can make the mod to change all the accelerators in the universe to the terran ones they look so much nicer imo ;)

To add onto a previously (months ago) conversation about the autopilot spinning, that's unrelated to any mods, it's a game bug that happens when a ship passes through an accelerator very quickly, with(or without, for me anyways) autopilot turned on.

From my experience it only happens for both on very nimble ships. I haven't had the issue yet happen on an L or XL ship.

So I understand the previous comments about the 'spinning' when using autopilot. Is it happening to ALL ships or just the players when using autopilot?

I've received posts the same issue from other people at Nexus about this one. I think that it might be a problem with the accelerator's XML configuration itself which can be hard to fix unless it is done by the developers themselves (or someone who has any idea on how to configure the values).

I can corroborate this, there's something wrong with the AI pathing for the accelerators. I don't think its a conflict though.

correction it only dose the spin when using Auto Pilot, so pathing error?

when entering the destination system my ships do a 540* spin ending facing the accelerator while the player is in system
other than that amusing issue they work fine and I love the design
probably a mod conflict, but no idea is which is not playing nice with it

Just wanted to stop by and say thank you. I just can not wrap my head arround why Egosoft decided to break the lore and insert their old commonwealth accelerators instead of these. Never had a problem with those accelerators to this point wether high attention or low attention (e.g OOS). I just hope the upcoming Borons will not mess this mod up. But everythhing should be fine unless Egosoft decides to put those assets into the game afterall. But they missed their mark. Now everyone has the old accelerators in their savegames, so they probably wont do it.
Maybe we see them if they make X5 or, as many suspect, another standalone itteration of the whole X4 Universe, like X:TC was.

This mod shouldn't affect mining whatsoever. Could be a problem with another mod that coincidentally modifies the file that this mod does but J.L.'s xunism mod should not conflict with this one.

@aladinaleks I'm already "Start Over the Game" at time to time! But still conflict with "X Universe + / as of 5.0"! I'm still unknown what still damaging to each other mods like I said below. When I'm unsubscribe this one or X Universe + / as of 5.0, mining operation work normally.

Your mod conflict with "X Universe + / as of 5.0" after I'm start over the game time to time to testing the situation. My ship or even TER them self are not mining any solid resources in Sol such as Asteroid belt, Saturn and also Oort cloud. It's look like they just flight around not mining solid resources in there, but liquid mining work normally. When I shut down your mod or that's one I told above, both type resources mining operation work normally in Sol once again with no problem. Please fix this.

Only those who also change the dlc_terran_zones.xml but I am pretty sure there are no other mods for X4 out there that also modify the file so it should be fine with any mod.

@Barnaby Jones It is there simply to not allow the player to continue with an existing save due to the issues the mod will put into it. Unless the player managed to pause the game right after it loads and save it, there's nothing getting broken.

Loaded a save of a new game made with this mod.. then it tells me my ship will self destruct.. lol. Glad I didn't do much with the new game.
