It is a nice room but I assume you have changed something because the guide is refering to statues for the dial puzzle. Now it just seem to be solved using logic of a clock?

@FreedomFire13 Thank you for the kind words! Glad you enjoyed it! I too loved the Crimson Room back in the day. First one I ever played.

(Played solo) Short and sweet - very well done! Brings back the nostalgia of the old Flash escape room games - which I wonder if classics like the Crimson Room were an inspiration for this? The puzzles were just tough enough to make me pause a moment to think, and use the in-room context clues, without being too complex or convoluted that I felt I -had- to go to the hints to get through or spend far too long messing with pieces to finally get them right. A couple of them were quite unique too! A bit simple in the layout and pacing, but that is perfect for a set-up like this and it flows nicely. Solid use of the space and included objects as well - almost everything has a purpose without it being cluttered or distracting. Excellent design all around!

Yeah but I think you accidentally copy and pasted a solution to a previous puzzle.

@ThatawkwardBryce @xamai You can refer to the hints for both hints and solutions. Just hover over the blacked out sentences to see what it says. Hope that helps!

How do you solve the book puzzle?!
xamai 30 Apr, 2022 @ 3:41pm
Weve realised what the books are used for but nothing is working. idk how to use spoilers but im almost 100% sure that were correct about it. any help?

The books drove me crazy! Had to put it down for a couple of weeks to let my brain rest.

@JustPlainMarc Thanks for the playing and the helpful comments. I'll see if I can prevent bypassing that lock.
JustPlainMarc 27 Jan, 2022 @ 1:54pm
it was a good room~ but you need to change the physics on the book shelf i actually got the item inside by just going to the side of the book shelf and grabbing it through the book shelf. other than that it was pretty nice
Babuushki 26 Jan, 2022 @ 6:16am
I literally thought it was something like that but still couldnt see anything, its really well hidden, i'll play through it again to find it. Player error :steamsad: My apologies. I try to avoid hints to do it vanilla lol

Thanks for the comments @Phondleu, I'll think about how to make those things more clear. Fyi there are hints in the discussion.

Gems were to open the bookshelf and the key was for the door behind the bookshelf
Babuushki 25 Jan, 2022 @ 5:09pm
it was nice and all, short and decent, except getting the gems and the keys had no purpose and there was nothing to put said key in, which didnt really make sense. I threw the whole room up and still couldnt find anything, there were no sounds indicating anything. nothing to put the gems in, so i kinda just stopped playing.

Thanks Ryboiii! Glad you enjoyed it!

Very easy puzzle, good design, was a little hard to find some hidden spots but overall fun

Very clever puzzles! My party really enjoyed this room although it was short. Thanks for sharing!

Digging the update, appreciate the changes in clarity :praisesun:

Simplified that puzzle with the rotating statues.
Witryso 18 Jan, 2022 @ 9:15pm
9 turns for 12, 4 turns for 3, 6 turns for 6, 2 turns for 9
ThunderCougarFalconBird  [author] 18 Jan, 2022 @ 8:40pm
Hmm, I just tried it out myself, it seems to be fine. What numbers are you using for each statue?
Witryso 18 Jan, 2022 @ 8:37pm
Still nothing :/
ThunderCougarFalconBird  [author] 18 Jan, 2022 @ 8:37pm
Also re the rotation: Try clicking on the statue rather than spinning it with the mouse. It's easier to get discrete steps that way.
ThunderCougarFalconBird  [author] 18 Jan, 2022 @ 8:32pm
Re: the direction of the rotation: The rotation step count of the statue needs to start with them all facing East
Witryso 18 Jan, 2022 @ 8:28pm
I've tried rotating the statues both clockwise AND counterclockwise. Nothing.
ThunderCougarFalconBird  [author] 18 Jan, 2022 @ 8:26pm
Hints and solutions are now pinned in the discussion tab.
ThunderCougarFalconBird  [author] 18 Jan, 2022 @ 7:35pm
Ah good point. I will add a hints and walkthrough in the discussion.
Witryso 18 Jan, 2022 @ 5:07pm
Stuck on the clock puzzle. Pretty sure the figures are related but aren't sure how to move them. I know the equations around the room correspond with the numbers on the clock, but not sure how to apply them to the figures
anna 18 Jan, 2022 @ 12:16am
Nice and short room! Had some initial problems with one of the puzzles being too vague to solve and struggling to find the key at the very end, but it looks like the creator fixed up those issues. Hope to see more!
Zesty Mordant 17 Jan, 2022 @ 8:08pm
Awesome room!! Really clever puzzles
