That said, the mission is fairly difficult and it is very satisfying to fly knowing you *really* need to be aware of the terrain, take it slowly, and might die because the map is huge, there are tons of cities and villages scattered around, which might have SAAWs or MANPADs.
It is a stark and WELCOME contrast with other missions out there in the workshop where you just arrive at a location which only has tanks and infantry and you proceed to massacre everything with impunity like Anakin in the Jedi temple.
Also, one can't just kill everything because you'll literally run out of money. You have to focus on the objectives and learn to dodge the dangers that are scattered around the map. It's superb
My two cents: if this were a campaign (maybe with less starting funds per scenario) it would be perfect.
I don't want to discourage people that make missions, but this was just way, way, too long to be fun for me. And yes, I had plenty of tunes ready to listen to. I had to stop and pause twice and realized I was only half way done with the objectives, and the later objectives were *even farther* away, so I gave up on it.
Nice detailed map, but not much to do between objectives indeed. Maybe adding a ceiling constraint, or passing through a canyon, or a few manpad here and there would spice it up.
Nice touch with the voice overs but they were a bit quiet and blurted out too fast
