ästhetisch eine sehr schöne map. Leider artet es im panzerspam aus, da die bunnker in die falsche richtung zeigen, oder die erhöhungen auf der verteidigerseite aus irgendeinem Grund für eine sichtbehinderung sorgen...

Need to place Territory Command Sector points and assign them by teams; 0=1 1=1 2=1 3=2 4=2 5=2 (Teams) and then place starting positions within those Territory command sectors to fix the problem with spawn - I had same problem... took a bit of "googling" to get an answer

Honestly, the wall on the beach? I understand there is a sea wall but lets not be so literal, especially for the sake of gameplay.

It worked good when making maps for coh 1 so i guess it's the games/tools problem

These comments.. Any way, JaysonV, you say there wasn't tanks during D-Day, well you're wrong. The DD Tank or Duplex Drive Tanks were a amphibious swimming tank developed by the British during the Second World War. The phrase is mostly used for the Duplex Drive variant of the M4 Sherman medium tank, that was used by the Western Allies during and after the Normandy Landings in June 1944. There was also the DD Valentine which were used in training. Other then being used during D-Day, they were also used during Operation Dragoon, in Northwest Europe, and the Italian Campaign.

look kschmidts, fuck you bitch!, who you calling names? the map sucks period! and to you Valkyrie _Cain, i know there were tanks at D-Day but the map maker didnt account for that everything bottle-nects and gets over crowded with the 1000 pop cap points. If people dont like my negitive remarks about the map?, thats fine, everyones entitled to there own choice. But I'm not going to lie and say this map is good because its not! and I did better! than deleting it, I remade it, the right way!

@JaysonV There were tanks at the D-Day landings. There had been modified to have a large inflatable 'skirt' and were deployed alongside the infantry during the assault.

2nd I actually made it just for me and my friend, so most things are our ideas
3rd do not liek the mape - do not download/play it.

Whoever made this map, didnt do his d-day homework at all. Whats up with the stupid wooden fence on the shore? The AI didnt have a clue! on what to do in this map.Make this D-day map (infantry only) with 200-400 pop cap only! NOT 1000 are u crazy?. D-Day had narrow passes to scale, they couldnt use Tanks and heavy vehicles. Dude! watch any! D-Day movie for clues...dough!. Sorry, I really like D-Day maps but this is crap! The right ideas but bad playabillity. Go back to the drawing board and do it right!. I had to re-edit this dumb map just to play it. The pop count is so high it creates an unplayable clutter! No sence in making another one if you wont know how to improve it

quick info - I am working on a new map. So I won't be able to update this one so much, and the issues with AI pretty much can't be fixed, also the terrain problems on the cliff are quite hard to fix

Boring map. Should NOT have infinite resources. Also way too small for 3 players if you have that much stuff. Needs some finetuning resource wise (how many, where what strategic points and NOT infinite resources) and this will be a great map. Really like the bunkers and trenches.

8.) Line of sight on the beach gets very weird for no reason near the bunkers. For some reason certain angles allow you to see through the bunker yet not on the sides and vice versa. Not sure if this is an issue because of the craters and uneven terrain but it definetly fucks up any vehicles fighting in that area.

6.) The seawall blocking the entire line seems glitched against single infantry squads which can somehow walk through them (German Snipers) and if a squad uses an ability when they are entirely flush against the wall, they can also sometimes glitch through members of the squad.

7.) The spawn points are weirdly numbered on the starting screen and give the impression of one member of each team being spawned on the opposite team which seems partially true in game when I saw the Americans spawning German Snipers somehow despite not having a single German player. Not sure if it's a glitch because they weren't able to spawn any other German unit but I was surprised when two German Snipers showed up in the trenches and killed one of my squads.

4.) Direct fire artillery units are unable to hit the beach at all as their shells seem to only travel in a virtual straight line and thus hit only the bunkers and trenches making them basically worthless. Mortars appear to mostly work but almost every anti-tank gun, tank, and heavy artillery piece that doesn't indirect fire through barrage hits the ground. The same goes from the other side, direct fire units can't hit units on the cliff because of terrain issues.

5.) The right hand side of the map from the Germans spawn area leading to the beach where the bunker and the wall are is considered scalable. Not sure if this was intentional but any vehicle can just drive up and destroy the wall and the entire force can just waltz on up and avoid everything despite it looking very steep.

Nice design but a few issues I noticed over a couple of games.

1.) The German natural vehicle repair station is uncapturable by certain infantry for some reason as the capture circle seems to be unfindable for them.

2.) The forward line of bunkers and emplacements on the cliff side immediately after the Allies area exits the beach is plagued by blocked line of sight and bad pathing. Units get stuck if the garrisons get destroyed by being forced somehow onto the cliff side itself or into small corners with no available pathing for them to retreat.

3.) Retreating from multiple units ends in the trenches if more than one squad happens to be in the way and the squad is in close proximity to each other. For some reason the AI thinks they already retreated back to base when they only moved a few in game feet.
