i think some professions need car key already exist in keys slot, like for example police officer already have car key for any sedan police car, park ranger with any ranger sedan car key, and fire officer with fire truck key

Just FYI the code for the school bag under the burglar profession is incorrect, it's Base.Schoolbag when it should be Base.Bag_Schoolbag.

@hawkSixx I will add some extra ones when I release a patch. I don't have a time frame for it at the moment. I am busy with work and some other projects. I will see if I can get to it soon though. I have a lot of good suggestions from the community at this point.

I think an M14 would maybe be better suited for the veteran rather than an M16. Maybe like a semi automatic version like an AR-15 if you want to add on a weapons mod?

the security officers / security guards should have the "mall security" preset clothing i think, which is a police shirt, as it fits them quite well.

It is a good mod. But I think you should change two things about burgler:
1) Sunglasses: They are pretty useless for roleplay and I'm not sure why you add it to burgler.
2) Schoolbag: I mean c'mon we are talking about a burgler, not a school kid. It would be better add sports bag instead.

I love the detail of burger flipper starting with molotovs, implying that they got so fed up with their jobs that burning their former costumers alive is enough to appease the years of torture in retail. XD

Could you make a new profession (soldier) that spawns with all the soldier stuff? I want to make a military RP server but I can't find any mod that does this.

I updated the mod and the burglar now spawns with a backpack. not the one I originally wanted but hey it works.

To enable a mod for a server you have to enable it in two places in the server settings. One of them is to enable the mod locally and the other is to enable it in the workshop. You need your version of the mod to have a workshop link in order to activate it on a server.

If the mod works in single player but not multiplayer that should be the cause.

The code looks fine to me. does it work in single player? The issue might be with the servers settings.

Hey, quick question if you don't mind please. I'm trying to edit the shared 'Profession Items.lua' file to remove some of the items certain professions get, but it still they still receive up wiping and restarting the dedicated server. Is there something I'm doing wrong with the code below? I just removed a few lines, looks to be good. Very much appreciate it, love this mod!

That is beyond the scope of this mod. We have no plans make major changes to the code.

You are welcome to edit the lua files of this mod yourself to make what you want.

Would it be possible to make it so a player only receives these items once?

Example: If i spawn as a vet and die, then re spawn as a new vet i have nothing.

Example 2: I spawn as a Mechanic, die. Spawn in as a new class, and have nothing. ♥

@NeoGreen Honestly I am not sure if it would matter, I think best practice would be to start a new save, but I personally do not think it would matter. Better not take chances though. This is my first project zomboid mod and I did not specifically test existing save files.

Maybe try backing up your save and see if it causes any issues? I will try and make a save this weekend and test it. I am really busy during the weekdays.
