help me
I was using M9 piston
A bug? Or intentional?
I´ve made the same experience with the m16. I thought i was very unlucky not to find the m16 in the normal places there it should be. Do you really think it could be a bug with this mod?
I've look in Rosewood and city's in between Rose and Riverside, and not even 1.
Got all kinds of guns but not one silencer...
@TopDay: What do you suggest? I made the values basically replicate the original; it's a matter of taste I suppose.
For example: /additem Base.9mmPistol
Had you read just a couple of comments further down, you could have saved yourself the time writing the question and me writing the response.

I've totally rewritten the code as it was unfortunately just not implemented correctly.
Everything behaves itself now, stats are applied properly and I've tied it into the Metalworking skill for crafting. Yes, it works properly in both SP and MP.
As a bonus, I created a separate 3D model for the home-made silencer which takes advantage of the game's built in attachment system, maybe I'll get around to fixing up the pre-existing model so that it does that too. It's a purely backend change that would remove the need to have a separate model file for every gun.
If you want full details, check the Change Notes tab.
Unfortunately it seems the un-suppressed guns do no longer make a gunshot noise. I think the standard none suppressed sound file is missing. Once a silencer has been added the sound works fine.
