- It is not BMCE compatible, I did have another version that was but unfortunately it is now outdated, however, I do intend to update it sometime just have no clue when as it is a lot of monotonous work.

- it is a remodelling of the previous classic vest mod to make it sit more naturally on Barney's body as the old version hung very low. But if you're asking if it is a retexture or remodel of the original Black Mesa vest then it is both.

To answer all of your questions:

- I have no idea why your Barney's are all invisible or why the mod isn't working. I haven't updated the mod in a long time but I'd be very surprised if any updates have made the mod broken. I'd imagine there must be a clash with another mod.

- I could probably make a mod for the blueshift mod that changes the vests, Sounds like a fun idea however I don't want to make any promises though as I haven't really found the time or motivation to work on any of my old mods but never say never. I also give full permission to anyone to make that mod a reality if they wish to do so.

Do not use this with improved hurt guard textures. If you do, the hurt guards will use the Vanilla BM guard model and it looks very jarring, especially when you use this with improved classic security guard zombies.

Eluwani, that is strange, I would suggest verifying the game cache or looking through your mod list for any possible conflicts. If this is a common issue I will look further into it but I currently don't have this issue.

super robot123 currently not that I know of. I have a version that does work but as I am new to Source modding the Hurt Guard, Female Guard and Hurt Female Guard are refusing to compile for some unknown reason. I have however already adjusting the vest to work with each of these models.

Additionally, I hope to release a bmce modification using the classic barney colours and the classic scientist ties.

AlexGuy, I believe it is based on the original Barney model as both are near identical, the only real difference being the Gearbox version is a lighter grey/silver for the padding. In saying that, it certainly appears to take inspiration from the Gearbox model.

liamsoulby, this is my second mod and I have no clue why it doesn't just work when you subscribe. My last mod did.

Looking at some other submissions, it appears I am not alone in having this issue so it may be a problem with the workshop. But if you know a fix, by all means feel free to let me know.
