Attacked a Dark Elf city. The city's defensive structure, "Spider Obelisk" (sp?), was webbing my units permanently, that is, until the end of the battle. I'm guessing that wasn't intended, because it's way over-powered.

maybe one of the sugguested solutions help you with that problem, i wish i could do more. but believe me, the models are there and they work. at least on my PC (nvidia GPU, Win 11).
i couldn't have made the screenshots without them working, so the only thing that i can think of apart from hardware or windows issues is that the files got corrupted. which is one of the first mentioned points in the thread.

I have the same symptoms when I only use your pure mode without using other modes.

Update coming soon. i fixed the ship bug already. realized, machinary also had issues.

No worries! It's a small bug anyway, easily overlooked. Take your time, I'm still having fun with it as it is anyway.

oh... well, you might be right, i did not think ybout that since i usually do not build ships. thank you for mentioning that. but please do not expect a fix for that soon since i have temporarily lots of stuff to do and even regarding this mod there are some exhausting tasks i want to fix first, like shrinking the mod in its size by compressing all the files into 1 xml and 1 library file, i will release your fix along with the rest =)

Works great. I can finally bring back the Cult of Storms!

Though it seems dark elf cities with a harbour are unable to build boats like they should, though I haven't tested extensively so I'm not sure if that's this mod or a conflict with another.

FYI: this mod does NOT need the darkelf template. only the 2nd and 3rd DLC.
