unplayable mod, sorry : Pieces overlap. Please fix it asap to have your thumb up.
Plz design a vanilla version based on this example :

Great tip zwanglos! Thank you :)

So, a fix for the custom tiles problem is this: for each individual tile, right-click, go to Custom, copy what's in the Model/Mesh field and paste that into the Collider field and hit Import. Et voila, the tiles don't do that annoying overlap thing anymore.

Played on this board with friends about 4 times. Seems alright. No problems. I give it the pass. Check this game out!

Graphics seem to be missing object models - don't load :(

OMG!!! YES! Now I can play this with my brother!

DMCA took down all my Settlers of Catan mods so they might take this one down too. :(

Yes, Mr. Dr.Smith III is right, when trying to place the hexes on a grid, the plains tile always overlaps the fields tile no matter how much I mess around with the hex grid.

The custom peices dont fit together. Everytime I try to put the pieces next to eachother they overlap.

Also, I can't seem to find a Brick Port hex in the loot bag. Not a big deal though, I just lock a Brick resource card to one of the blank hexes.

Hey, really loving the mod but I noticed the deck of Development cards is missing 7 Knight cards, (there should be 25 Dev. Cards in total). Should be a pretty quick fix.
Unsung_Shamann 20 Jun, 2014 @ 9:59pm
True. It took me like 10 mins to implement my hex models into my version of catan mods. It's pretty easy!
Cheddar 20 Jun, 2014 @ 6:35pm
because it would be 5 min job
Wrothmonk 17 Jun, 2014 @ 9:32pm
Why put them in at all then until proper collisions are implimented?
DinDin  [author] 17 Jun, 2014 @ 8:04pm
What Moneyman said. As soon as they implement mesh collisions this mode will work fine :)
Unsung_Shamann 17 Jun, 2014 @ 7:58pm
they are not sapost to, yet. its called a box colision and it thats way because they didnt add any other. dont play with the tiles for now.
Wrothmonk 17 Jun, 2014 @ 2:12pm
The tiles have really odd collision meshes that dont fit together. You seem to be missing the 2:1 brick port and several blank sea tiles. Its kinda impossible to set up a custom board at this point since none of the tiles fit together properly.

Not just him,.. but it's not a error with your workshop.. getting that in lots of workshop loads.. especially big ones. It's a game bug.. I even have problems with the 3d peices spawning the wrong colors.. put them in a loot bag, take them out and they fix themselves.. however often times diferent pieces then shift colors.
DinDin  [author] 15 Jun, 2014 @ 7:11am
Hopefully it's just you, or some minor bug that may be addressed in a future update. Luckily I haven't experienced anything like that yet.
Shruxilo 15 Jun, 2014 @ 6:24am
Seems to be a couple of file errors in the game, the Blue and Red city pieces ask for links, and when cancelled deletes them.

Maybe it's just me? But thought i'd say anyway.

I am highly considering making this into a fully customizable board, as if you were playing irl. I'll get back to this shortly.
Cheddar 13 Jun, 2014 @ 5:04pm
@kobolt..

It would still be easier to just make a blank hex board.. A deck of square cards that fit in the hex.. be a little white around edges but no big deal... You just suffle the cards and lay them out like setting up a board.. you start in a corner and go clockwise towards center.. no program needed.. once custom tile collisions aren't boxed then regular hexes can easily be made and shuffled in a loot bag... but temporarily square cards would be very easy.. so many nice settlers on here I dont want to make another settlers mod.. just hoping someone else will come up with or use the idea.
Kobolt 11 Jun, 2014 @ 3:56am
I have an idea to help alleviate the custom board problem. what if you created a program that can make a random board? It could be a simple JAVA program that takes the tiles of the game randomizies them in a pattern, then prints out a image or makes a link on a website or server for people to use.
Cheddar 9 Jun, 2014 @ 7:13pm
or the piece pack guy.. he's already made the hexes.. you should check out that mod
DinDin  [author] 9 Jun, 2014 @ 6:22pm
Not a bad idea! Once mesh collisions are proper, Im sure a friend of mine would be more than happy to set up proper board piece models :)
Cheddar 9 Jun, 2014 @ 4:02pm
I meant fully usable hex models are usable.. not decks
Cheddar 9 Jun, 2014 @ 4:01pm
untill fully usable decks are available why not make the hexes blank?.. then make the proper amount of Square resource cards that can be randomized and placed on each hex so board is changable.. do to lock cards this woiuld work well.. I've been wanting to do that myself but I'm doing 4 other games and havent gotten to it.. even make it a seperate workshop so those that want the slightly cleaner table look... you could even make the square cards by cropping the center of the resource cards so it would be little work... just an idea ive been think of
Cheddar 9 Jun, 2014 @ 3:51pm
this is exciting!
Birne 9 Jun, 2014 @ 6:41am
Great! I just need Seafearers and complete custom boardmaking
