Love the variety, any chance you can release a version that normalizes the volume on all the tracks? I find I'm constantly going into settings/audio to adjust each track... Some are so loud they down out everything, some are so quiet you can't hear.

Well that is a possible explanation, I'm uncertain now.

Praylak, interesting. Perhaps these are variations of the same soundtrack? Or not? Because in the last update, variations of soundtracks were added, for example, Space Marine Stronghold theme has full version, only Brass and only Percussion + Strings.

I seem to be having trouble with this since the last or previous game update. I hear only about two dozen songs and then they loop over. I remember this had an immense track list of a hundred or more. Anyone else experience this?

Eternal Crusade doesn't have A LOT of music and to be honest I'd probably wouldn't enjoy it if such music was put into this mod rather than be it's own mod, I like both Gladius and Dawn of Wars music so I really have no issues with either being here, best of both worlds for me, but I have no love for Eternal Crusade.

Cursed Hawkins, according to the original concept, «Echoes of the Past Battles» was supposed to replace all the original Gladius soundtracks with those in DoW1-DoW2, however, a nuance arose: this is Adeptus Mechanicus DLC – so I had to add soundtracks from Mechanicus.
In the first update, I decided to add everything that was in DoW1, DoW2 and Mechanicus (and I still keep adding). At the same time, I often saw in the comments that people would like me to return those soundtracks that were originally in Gladius. Initially, I did not want to add them to the modification, but still decided to add them in the second update (I explained this aspect in one of my comments), because why not? If the people want it, then so be it. However, this is rather an exception for Gladius soundtracks.
So, for all info about «Echoes of the Past Battles» check the «Change Notes» and «Discussions» sections.

I was going to ask why the original soundtrack was mixed in because I remember it being replaced with the DoW soundtrack, that gave me my answer without having to voice the question.

However, «Echoes of the Past Battles» was created to replace the soundtracks that they already have in the game, so if the original Gladius soundtracks will be in the upcoming update, then only to supplement the main list of those soundtracks that the mod adds as new - not as a replacement.
Simply said, the original Gladius soundtracks will be in the next mod update, which will be released soon.

Honestly I'd love it if this added to the current soundtrack rather than replaced it outright. Is that possible?

This is the single best mod for this game, I can't pay Gladius without this.

I do like the gladius soundtracks. I wish they could be added in but I get that this is a replacer mod.

exoticRaven, «Echoes of the Past Battles» replaces entirely old and adds new soundtracks. You can view all the changes and information about modification in the «Change Notes» and «Discussions».

does this replace entirely or add to the gladius track list? I dont mind the gladius sound track but it can get repetative as its so short

Darktide is out now, and it has some bopping tunes too that might be nice additions.
