Sorry, thumbs down. Can't release a mission like this with the view distance. You can only see the Tigris when you're on top of him with 4 missiles and 200 rounds flying at you.

how do i spawn my planes in it?

in main menu:
Multiplayer -> Quick Play -> Host Server -> Host Server -> Altis -> CAS Practice -> Play

I have the same issue. What is the fix?

Sorry about 2.0 guys it may never happen, about a year or so ago a mouse started living in my PC case and pissed on my GPU and I’ve been having financial trouble so i have no idea when i will return to gaming, maybe one day in the far future we will all be able to enjoy CAS PRACTICE 2.0, thanks for the support and feedback

You can fix the view range problem by running the following commands in the console:
setViewDistance [Your desired value in metres]
setObjectViewDistance [Your desired value in metres]

It's a shame about the view range problem. Are you sure it's an arma thing, and not some part of the multiplayer? I know a lot of mp servers have a view range that does not adhere to what you set in your options/singleplayer.

no sorry this was not a problem when i made the mission, but i guess arma did some bs update (which they love doing) and changed something with the weather a while back

how can you increas view range? I get alot of fog even tho my setteings are set to full range. Is there a menu I have not found?

I would love that also, I was almost at that point of scripting before I got booked, it is hard for me to get back into the editing because ive kind of lost my touch if you know what i mean my brain isnt all the way wired to script how i used to, but im slowly getting my skill back.

You can play it in single player, well basically, you can open a server with lan so it is not online and play by yourself, you have to play it in some kind of MP server like that so that the respawn can work.

If you can't play it in sp then you worked almost for nothing

UPADATE: I was in jail for the past 17 months but im back and I plan on getting back to scripting like good ol' times, so expect updates coming soon!

great mod! is there a way to get a higher view distance ? normally i play with 5000m distance settings and now its around 1000, which is too less for CAS normally

This is totally great! allowed me to learn to fly and attack without having to deal with the pesky reload times of dying. Its really a great one! Works great for a lesson field with friends in multi. Love it!

Hey, I was enjoying the mission about two weeks ago and it was fine. I think you did an update and now it gives and error when I try to launch the missionit says something to effect of "no player selected!"
Hopefully this can be fixed!

You must go into the multiplayer section fro mthe main menu thn select "new" at the bottom left and it doesnt matter if the server is LAN just select ok and pick the mission

Very fun i like the skins.

Great mission. One suggestion I had was to possibly add a medical bay at base. You'd be supprised how damaged the pilot can get from the plane getting hit. You just need a HEMTT medical, or if you want to make it a little more complex (and heal you to 100%), add some civilian medics (the units called "scientist" look really cool). Just use the addAction script on them and have it say [player setDamage 0;] or similar.
