Hello! This looks like an awesome mod, but unfortunatley im not able to craft the armour. Any helpful advice?

You are correct. You dont even need to be a nightingale to craft this though, you can do it whenever you like ;) This is a non-replacer btw

If you are concerned about that I would just suggest waiting until after you become master before crafting :)

i havent played skyrim in a while, but im pretty sure that you become a nightingale BEFORE you become the thieves guild master, so having this the same moment you become a nightingale seems kinda odd. maybe you could make yet another version of the mod that only gives you the normal or undercover version at first, but then either unlocks this version upon becoming the thieves guild master, or simply gives you this one instead of the vanilla guld master armor.

So agreed. One of the reasons mods are amazing is because they are free, and created out of a love and passion for the game. If people can start charging for their mods, we'll start getting crap mods that are thrown together quick just to make cash. Quality will go down, enthusiasm will go down.....This whole thing will end badly. =(

yes i can see as well suporting the devlopers where it is a good thing but think about it anyone who mods for money dose not care about you or any of us other no moders they will only care about profits and makeing more mods that will either be stupid flawed or there will be 600 of the same sword all the same just in difrent colors i hope that all of us on steam togeather as a comunity can change this and give the freedom and power back to us the devlopers the pc gamers the freedom fighters to have what only we have the freedom of PC

TheGreyLight you are so right hit the nail on the head this worl of moding and creation was to be free to let are imaginations roam freeto make games like skyrim unique to each of us or own world with what we want and how we want it if we have to pay for that kinda freedom then its point less with it being free we feel as if we are gods of our own world if we have to pay then we lose that power and become slaves to money and lose what makes moding so much fun and importent to others i can count somany times that i have comented on a mod thanking them on making a awsome mod and how well it work i think steam is just shooting them selves n the foot here

In response to the recent changes to steam which allow creators to charge for mods:

To be honest im really dissapointed. One of the best things about modding is that it was free and available to everyone. It is was community creating imaginitive content for other people to enjoy. There were no restrains to what could be done. It was such a special thing for me as a creator to share my little piece of the world with everyone, and paying for mods really ruins it.

I can understand why steam would think that this would be beneficial for the creators. Supporting creators for thier works seems like a good idea in theory. But it isnt about the money, its about the joy of creating, and having others experience your creation...

...I always used to get so much excitement from viewing the front page, and looking at all of the amazing content everyone has created. All of it free and available for everyone to enjoy. Soon it will just be a wall full of numbers and closed doors. It will be a dissapointment, looking at all the content you could have if you were richer. These days it seems like every game is becoming pay to play.

Modding should be free. If you really want to support creators steam, have an ad show before download. This way the content is still free, and creator still get a bit of money for their work. Monitzation is going to kill this community. It will suck all the life and joy out of modding for everyone.

Even though im not actively creating mods anymore, all of my mods will remain free forever. Im really sorry this has happened, an I wish it werent the case.

I keep having an issue where this mod breaks the rest of the thieves guild armor, leaving everyone including my own thieves guild armor textureless. More specifically, the chest armor piece. This is for both the other thieves such as Delvin and Brynjolf, and even my guildmaster chest armor.
