Update: Pressing C on your keyboard with this mod enabled in online co-op seems to desync the game. When using this mod with your friends, just avoid that key like the plague I guess?

Seems to work fine in Rep+, even in co-op online! Just don't take eye of the occult, it basically made me lose half my dps due to it being bugged.

i have a problem cuz when Jacob and Esau walk away from eachother of close together they change dmg they have and it lags the hell out of my game, any help?

as a fan of the original jacob+esau (even the antibirth version), i have to say this mod is really well made. i don't enjoy using it, but i understand that this was not made for me. the biggest issue i honestly have with this is that they start with marked. it would be fine it it didn't give you the stat ups, but it does, giving you really good stats for the early floors.

also, the auto aiming makes a lot of enemies pretty weak against you, but i don't think you could have made it any other way, so i'll give it a pass.

I've been putting together modlist for accessibility (audio, visual, cognitive, motor) and the auto targeting system seems helpful for allowing players to play one-handed or with a blow straw. It could even appeal to people who enjoy gameplay like vampire survivors. Could I ask you to make this kind of mod but for all characters? I love this, jacob and esau are much more fun like this but there is the occasional item that doesnt work with them

Make them both Harder and easier at the same time, playing these guys effectively now feels alot more skillful and less BS to lug around esau

update, going to alt path with this character is miserable, as in the mother chase scene you cant control them both at once, and its mostly hallways, so you may dodge with one character but get hit with the other, if that gets fixed 10/10 i like the way this mod makes my brain feel

Pretty awesome mod, lots of fun and fresh take on the characters. There's two major glitches I found though, Eye of Occult and D4. Eye of Occult breaking the ability to auto shoot, while d4 making runs themselves broken (in a fun way though lol).

I think that the ability to change their keybindings would be nice

there are some soft lock rooms....

my brain cant comprehend using 2 different controls to play 2 different characters at the same time (its like playing a rhythm game with your dominant hand and non dominant hand at the same time but not 2 handed controls like d f j k) but it is great co op without a second controller

can you make it possible to switch WASD and Arrow Keys around? i get tripped up and move Esau instead of Jacob sometimes.

This mod really requires a lot of brain power in order to use it effectively, but I can only imagine how easy runs are if you've mastered the controls

Love this mod but be careful a lot of items either just dont work or will ruin your run. I picked up eye of the occult and it makes you unable to aim and you can only shoot when holding drop button. Just be careful about picking up things that change your tears in weird ways. Things like blue candle really don't work well.

I bet if I get the birthright I'm gonna instinctively dodge a tear that that brother can go through and dodge right into one that whichever one of them cant.

this is perfect with the fireboy (esau) and watergirl (jacob) reskin mod with esau (fb) being the arrow keys and jacob (wg) being wasd, just like the flash games

I love the idea so much but it simply doesn't work. the mod literally doesn't change anything, I tried to uninstall all other unecessary mods, re-start, re-install... doesn't work. I really wish i knew what i am doing wrong...

my only complain is in the knife search route, it is very tuff to properly throw bombs and shooting tnt, besides that, it is a very cool mod

Oh, gosh, I almost forgot. There's also a struggle I've had with using bombs from bomb dispensers. When they pick up the bomb they'll throw it automatically in the direction they're firing if they lock onto an enemy and if I use the aim mode they'll throw it instantly in the direction the crosshair appears from. So aside from it being tricky, Esau will always throw bombs towards Jacob. I know that's not something you can directly affect much but it's worth noting that since it makes some bosses and rooms very tricky.

I actually really enjoy this mod so far. It was really tough to get a feel for moving them together but it kind of grows on you. Not easy by any means, in fact it's ludicrously difficult so far but the more I play and the more familiar it is then the more I feel like it's actually very strong. The only issue I've had so far is that when using the right trigger (I'm on controller so it's probably right mouse or something) to stop and aim it always forces me to drop my items. Usually with Jacob and Esau, as well as with the forgotten, pressing the trigger (or whatever) one time doesn't drop your items or change your equipment if you have multiple cards or the D-Infinity. You have to press it twice in a row to do that to avoid this issue. Is there a way you could adjust this so that I can reliably use the aim mode without having to drop my trinkets and stuff?

Otherwise, genuinely very fun and creative mod that reinvents one of the more frustrating characters in the game.

The menu doesn't show up, is there an issue on my part or is it something broken by latest patches?
