But that would make sense considering it isn't used in MO proper

Hmm, I have never done this so I didn't notice. :P I'll have to take a look later.

Also it doesnt break the game but I noticed the unfinished leather item created when a colonist leaves doesnt have a name or description which when clicked causes the HUD to bug out and flicker.

Yea everything seems good now, thanks.

I have absolutely no idea why this happened, but I just swapped it over to use tanning liquor as fuel instead of a recipe ingredient and everything appears to be working now, perhaps delete and rebuild your drum and make fresh bills to make sure.

Ok, for some reason the old tanning job workgiver is no longer working just for this building. Which is weird. I'll have to see if the tanning rack is using a different one now. Sadly I may have to move it over to the processor framework, which I don't really want to do.

Any hide aside from the human leather hide despawns, the only mods that I could think caused this were alpha animals and a leather patch mod for medieval overhaul but I recreated the error after removing them.
Holgast  [author] 23 Aug, 2022 @ 2:40pm
Is there a particular hide you are using when this happens?
Gay Obama 23 Aug, 2022 @ 9:04am
At random intervals the hides won't turn into leather. Any clue why?

Whatever is easiest honestly. I appreciate the work you've done on it!

Yeah, looks like it did and the original recipes have been commented out as they're not needed since the change to a processor. If you like how it worked before, I can just restore it, or I could look into how to get it to work as a processor like in the base mod
Holgast  [author] 6 Jun, 2022 @ 2:06am
Hrm, it probably did. I'll take a look.

Not sure if Medieval Overhaul had an update, but the tanning drums in my game are back to only having rug recipes.

Medieval overhaul
Holgast  [author] 18 Apr, 2022 @ 7:57am
Didn't think about it. Is that in Medieval Overhaul or something else?

Any plans for elétric cotton spinner

Awesome, glad I could help. I'll give it a try on my next run, that game got bricked and I stripped my mod list down a bit
Holgast  [author] 20 Feb, 2022 @ 5:14pm
Hello! Thanks for reporting.

It looks like the base mod updated to change the base leather tanner into a processor rather than a regular bill user, which is something I had considered doing at the start but it was considerably more effort and I thought it wouldn't be worth doing for such a quick bill. The regular leather recipes were also removed from the base leather tanner in this update, which removed them from mine as well because it inherits.

I've just put up an update to restore the recipes. It will work the same as before, which may be different from the base mod leather tanner at this time.
Holgast  [author] 15 Feb, 2022 @ 1:49pm
Hmm, the base mod may have updated something. I'll have to take a look.

Don't know why but I'm not getting the 'treat any hide' option or any individual hide to leather recipes in the drum, only the rug ones
