I've tried my best to see what exactly is causing certain people to reset on hole 4. I've had no luck sadly and ran out of ways to see how or why. I'm starting to think it might be
For anyone else experiencing this, please let me know what custom modes you may have on or how it was exactly happening.
Had to forfeit the hole to continue. Very frustrating.
You must be confusing your comment you left on another map maker's page.
https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2681596350
The comment you left on mine was just reiterating the words cringe and bad with no substance, at it's core it was a troll comment made by an obvious troll.
Try to find someone else to gaslight.
I informed golfers that the first few holes were good, but that was bait. That the rest of the holes were cringe and got worse. That overall, the map wasn't worth playing. That's valid feedback. You removed it because it hurt your feelings. It didn't fit your narrative.
Feedback like "very good map" stays up on your page. Hollow praise that makes you feel good. It fits your narrative. Your fantasy. It doesn't help the average golfer.
I'd love to see what other negative reviews you've censored. I'm sure there are plenty, bucko. But I'll never know. The moment you see a comment that paints your maps in a negative light you bust out the delete button and abuse what little power you have to deceive golfers into thinking that your precious little 3 and 4 star Golf With Your Friends maps aren't as bad as they actually are.
If you're a golfer reading this before it's censored: there are much better maps out there.
To take your actual, hasty feedback into consideration, I actually build the holes entirely first and make sure they're playable. Then, I add the aesthetics. There is definitely more work time put into the holes than the décor. Trust me, beautifying the course is the faster and more fun part.
I also don't understand what you mean by making the risky shots more worth the risk? They give you hole-in-ones that require some precise or accurate shots, otherwise it'll be a par or worse.
P.S. Put the dictionary away, no need to appear smart on this side of the internet. Especially with a username and profile picture like that. It makes you out as phony and pompous, even worse when ego is the first thing you bring up.
I appreciate you both for refreshing this page multiple times enough to make an ever increasingly comment engagement on this map.
It's also a shame that deleted comments are entirely gone, as they'd show the kind of feedback that you both were leaving. If I had to delete it (and you were actually the first comment I ever deleted!), it really didn't provide any value to be left up. You should see, I'm really not shy with keeping negative comments up. You may feel free to take a look at my other, older maps.
In retrospect, everyone has a right to their own opinion, just like I have the right to remove troll comments off of my community contributions.
it is convenient for your ego to assume our comments are spurious troll comments, and that I'm a randomly recruited friend.
The truth is I played this map with mmm wiener salad. I am writing this as someone who has played ho ho holes in full and logged over 40 hours in golf with your friends. we both disliked the map. we both disliked it to the point of leaving a comment. risk v reward for alternate routes was never worth it, and the final hole was a lackluster finisher.
please do not pretend "feedback" is what distinguishes a comment you'll censor from a comment you wont. plenty of these comments are not serious feedback, they're little plaudits with virtually no insight, you do not censor those.
Politely, I recommend focus less on the aesthetics and instead fix alternative routes to make risky shots worth the risk on future maps.
Hopefully you're honorable enough to thole my negative feedback. There's always room for improvement, chin up kid.
I'll leave this one up, but when you come back multiple times (with friends) to leave troll
comments, they will be deleted. You and I both know it's not feedback.
@Shadark
I tried multiple times to test where you're getting reset. I initially thought you reset on the wheel that lifts you up, but I have had no luck for it happening. Would you or anyone else that experiences this elaborate a little further? Thanks.
