You can tweak building costs however you like using RimmsQOL, or even just edit the XML files yourself. It's literally just removing a couple lines from a text file.

Any chance of cutting down security tower rearm cost? Towers are cool and everything, but my total rearm cost is approaching 2k steel, and i'm not even done with my damn castle

I too believe the cost for building the castle walls from the castle walls mod is absolutely ridicolous having in mind you can just put like a 3 layer granite wall and it does mostly the same and cost a lot less.
