I was trying to generalise the outfit for both genders, and randomise everything else such as face props and hairstyles without creating specific outfits
I read the other comments and saw that it's probably something related to PD and you can't do anything to fix it with your mod.
:(
Anyway, congratulations, your mod is simply the best when it comes to creating uniforms.
One of the options keeps flashing, and whenever I try to change something, it becomes extremely large and impossible to change =/
If anyone knows how to solve it :D
If I set up 2 uniforms (A and B) for male Rangers, that contain Kevlar and Predator armors . When a unit gets promoted to Ranger and picks Kevlar A. Is the progression to Predator going to be again from the same Uniform A, or is it random for each armor?
2. You need another mod for that, Unrestricted Customization Redux.
3. Yes, that's how it works.
1. So I set up a general class uniform for one of my classes, and I made a custom progression for a particular character in character pool. I have Titan Armor mod installed. Whatever I do, Grand Titan Armor breaks and does not remember the changes I have made. Is there a cap on how many armors I can save per character?
2. If I want to make a character retain his look, regardless of armor equipped, is there an easy way to do it? So far I tried with my templar, and I had to set up the same look for all armors. Copying did not work. Am I missing something?
3. Can I set up multiple looks for, say predator armor? If I do Predator A unit and Predator B unit uniform for male ranger class uniform. Will Rangers in campaign get assigned randomly A or B variant?
Like I said, just don't use that button. UC prevents Appearance Store functionality from working as intended.
@Daddy Takeda
I know the expression, I'm saying it doesn't apply. You said this mod is incompatible with UC. That statement is factually incorrect, which you would know if you (1) read the mod description before commenting like you were supposed to or (2) actually read and understood my reply to your comment.
1. The Stored Appearance tab is still visible, and when I go through and delete unwanted outfits, the game just freezes which then requires a restart.
2. This is to do with UCR, so I will ask this question on that mod page as well but maybe someone knows what's going on with it. Basically, when I untick the "Global Appearance" box in UCR's Mod Config Menu, I am unable to equip non-tier specific torsos on my characters without the loadout automatically switching to that armor. To illustrate what I mean, I have a character who has Kevlar Armor equipped but I want them to look like they are wearing the Wraith Torso. When I untick that box in the Mod Config Menu as I mentioned, the game refuses to let me equip the Wraith Torso without it also changing the character's loadout item to Wraith Armor.
I doubt there will be compatibility from this side: Iridar's retired.
Right now the menus overlap with the standard ones when Dollhouse & it are running
XCOM 2 > Workshop > Iridar's Workshop > [WOTC] Iridar's Appearance Manager
clicking "Iridar's Workshop" will take you to everything he's ever done
Many thank
much appreciate
If you mean an individuals appearance per armour look at "manage appearances" from the armoury of that unit
This would help alot as i enjoy each customization mod equally with their pros and cons together, so keep on the good work!
* choosing the base/avenger-only appearance for our soldiers
I wanted to see my soldiers wear casual clothes inside the avenger.
will this be possible to implement, and if it does, where can I ask for help on figuring how to do this? Thank you very much
Good to have that problem gone. Thank you again ^^
My only suggestion might be adding that to the known compatibility issues, since I couldn't find anything about it before I posted.
The ability to colorcode classes is basically essential to me, the automation on promotion and even being able to include patterns and other gear like head and weapons is great.
Solid vivid color is hard on the eyes and the deco patterns being applied make that issue go away.
Thank you.
There is one issue that the mod seems to have when paired with Commander's Choice.
Promoting through CC completely breaks automatic uniform management on a character.
I don't mean just when you promote them, I mean entirely. Even when changing the armor or upgrading armor later on, the currently six soldiers, and the four from my last campaign all of whom were promoted with CC refuse to use automatic uniforms.
*Manual application of uniforms works correctly*
I have a rather tame modlist and no customization or class mods (other than Long War of the Chosen "LW2 Classes") so if it does normally work with CC, I'm unsure what's happening.
Anyway, fantastic mod. Exactly what I wanted. It's not overly complicated at all, it has nuanced functionality. It's a testament to how much I like your mod that I'm willing to degrade myself by using Windows just for it.
