Since I can't get on the Discord still, Tedster, I looked into something and the EMM stuff integrated into this mod requires the Missing Packages Fix - Parcels and Maps Edition mod, or at least the PCP_Plates_XPACK.upk from it. Generating a map that utilizes the PCP_Archetypes_XPACK file from LWotC Experimental tries to load from PCP_Plates_XPACK and hits null.

This is the only recent mod that got updated for me to today and now my save will not load any missions without crashing the game.

If SPARK cannot go into battle while injured, Hope you can comment out Shen’s voice lines regarding SPARK’s injured deployment and the original XCOM 2 pop-up, and replace them with a new pop-up stating that SPARK cannot fight while injured.

Can't start the game( I did all recommended steps, launched the game with only 2 mods - LWOTC and Highlander, but it crashes after titles, before the moment when the game menu should appear. Help me please to fix it. PS: steam, mac, feral launcher.

Yeah, while fixing one thing I broke another. If things are not working, unsub and resub since I pushed the fix yesterday, so the broken version was up for around 18 hours or so. Unfortunately the mistake meant that lots of things could have been messed up so I recommend rolling back to an earlier save if you have one.

After some troubleshooting: apparently the missing soldiers during the after action report was save baked on the mission and could not be fixed by the update. Using restart mission allowed the soldiers to reappear as normal using the latest version. Space started working to confirm actions normally as well.

@Inksu Yeah even after the hotfixes all of the UI issues persist. The game is ok for the first mission after the fix but then afterward it all stops working.

Ironically the latest update seems to have broken a lot of things. The post mission screen shows no soldiers, and they aren't awarded mission XP. Soldiers are listed as available (Infiltrating) and can't be assigned to missions. Space doesn't work to confirm selected actions in the tactical layer. Previous versions were working okay for me. Maybe something went wrong with the upload?

This version will always be the "beta" version in a sense that it is for testing new features and balance changes. The stable release is updated much less frequently.

If possible can someone in LWOTC team allow music mods to work again with LWOTC.
It has been a long standing issue.
If someone has found out a config file fix, then please share. There is SO MUCH information out there that Its near impossible to understand the issue or find a solution even if one was posted.

ABN_GOps_Skyranger is from TLE/TLP. TLP is also the source of the 'oops the mission has a big hole in it' problem that comes up once in a while.

Tedster, I dunno if here's a good method of pestering you but I THINK, and this might be wrong so just don't worry about it if it turns out to not be the case, but! It feels like the new RemoveWeaponUpgrade function is causing all the UI elements everywhere in squad loadout to refresh too often. Changing a utility slot item and highlighting a new item causes all the button UI elements on the bottom to refresh. I am fairly sure that wasn't happening before this update, so I figured I'd inform.

Khuru, that means you are using Mod Jam. MJ (and Ted Jam, etc) change those to require corpses from enemy mods.

In the Proving Ground, I can't choose the projects: Acid grenade, Gas Grenade, Sabot rounds, Corrosive Rounds, or Dragon rounds, even though I have one unit of each one in stock to start the project. In each info window, it doesn't show the item's name, just the number (1) in red, which is weird. Is there anyone else with the same issue?

It's honestly not the biggest of issues, I'd say just leave the PsiGate_LW shell out. I imagine you can find some way to replicate the way the game will load in TLP content so that its shells aren't screwed up similarly, but it's really not... worth the effort, I'd argue. It's just a main menu shell, there's plenty of them to work with. :P Although I'm stuck constantly seeing the night slums screen for some reason right now.

Hey, Tedster, extremely minor cosmetic bug BUT!
XComShell_Wilderness_PsiGate_LW doesn't work right, it has phantom Mutons that aren't visible. Just a floating heavy plasma rifle in air. It's because some mod assets aren't loaded at the main menu yet.

To be honest i don't care above triggering multiple times since you cannot rely on single attack.
Purpose of this skill is take care about single big baddie for one turn and let other soldiers take care about rest of pod. Now you cannot do this because you put on risk your own soldier. After change it is useless skill and game is much harder for impossible ironman. Especially in the first months then you are underpowered, no resources it means if you stand close to muton or berserker and count for combatives, you have chance to die and mission f..d up. And I have checked with +4 dodge (no vest) , 2 of 4 attacks on different turns my soldier was hit (it means 2 of 4 attacks were crits). It is not buffed, it is nerfed a lot. As I told you, if you would like to nerf combatives it is much better to parry but not counterattack in case of bad roll. I mean first attack is parried but you dont deal damage back. In this case you can rely on it for single turn of one baddie.

Combatives was actually buffed to allow it to trigger multiple times a turn. The way it works is it gives 90 dodge vs the first melee attack each turn, so if it grazes/misses it will be converted to a counterattack. However, crit can upgrade the grazes to normal hits or crits, as well as the unit having negative dodge base so they don't get to 100 dodge, meaning the hit stays a normal hit. and goes through, thus you need nanoscale/tactical vest for the crit reduction.

I think combatives has been reworked. And currently it is so bad that it cannot be even relaible for tanking some baddies mutons,berserkers etc. Currently description is that you parry attack that grazes or misses you. So it still can hurt a lot. I had damage from berserker 6 and disorientation as graze attack. This change sucks. It was still not easy. If wanted to rework you could do that way that parry doesnt hurt attacker but still cancel attack.

@SuperTit91 Well IMO the Rapid Fire is quite useful. It could serve as some sort of "last resort" when you got only one action point left. Meanwhile, the Cyclic Fire, um... after you got the Travese Fire, why not to take a standard shot then an rapid fire?

Can you guys change the gunners skill tree? they have chain shot, then cyclic, then rapid fire...they dont need rapid fire but none of the perks at that rank are very good

Every time i do a Supply crate extract mission i don't get any reward at the end, only xp for my soldiers.

Switched to experimental highlander and Experimental Long war but that didn't solve the problem either.
Other missions like smash n' grab works properly

The last update (Update: 26 Oct @ 6:01am) is causing the game not to start anymore. A minimised window appears and remains stuck forever.

From the Launch.log file, it seems there are discrepancies in some files, for example:

[0004.54] Error: (AddNetObject) Objects Class XComGame.CHXComGameVersionTemplate and ByteProperty XComGame.XComWorldData:FOWUpdateTextureBuffer.FOWUpdateTextureBuffer have duplicate NetIndex 5932

Also, it seems these errors cause the binary itself to crash:

Fights with chosen in their strongholds now is very difficult especially with Warlock and Assassin(legendary ironman). Anyway it requires special team best is sniper,ranger,gunner,reaper and could be 2nd sniper or if we are dealing with hunter or assasin could be medic specialist.

I have noticed few bugs in this version.
1) Mind shield doesn't work against Warlock Scorche mind attack.
2) Sometimes camp retaliation is without enemies. Basically rescuing is everything what can be done during such mission
3) When we move unit which is temporary controlled by us (it could be domination or haywire protocol) close enough to unit with Close Combat Specialist ability, it is automatically shot.
4I have skullmined vanguard and received feedback and rupture
5)There are few other small bugs like
a) Sparks after gaining all action during overdrive are still active
b) sometimes when we maxed promotions on soldiers there are pending promotions on them and we cannot promote them of course anymore. Sometimes it is gone when we spend AP for skills but sometimes not.

Anyone having issues with Sparks now where if you have one in the squad it auto breaks concealment? Have had every mission my spark is on automatically just lose concealment

I have all the dlcs, all the dependencies active, only have the beta highlander active, still doesnt seem to want to load in the new skills, which is sad, because I'm mainly excited about the new skills

Uhh, so I got all the mods and stuff, but for some inexplicable reason, the new skills dont show up. There are just blank spots where the skills should be. Any tips?
