The issue with your maps, is that lots of connections don't make sense, and lands that are obviously something, like farmland or highlands arn't, they're blank. otherwise this is a fine looking map.

How do I use the portals?

Connection between 134-143 is missing, but shows a bridge.
If you follow the road, 200 should be connected to 207 not 183<->207.
8, 103, 211 have no connections.
The little planet with 296, 299,305, 306, 308, 317 has no connection to the rest of the map.
Thrones are often placed on those lands and can't be conquered ;(

Wonderful Map! A few errata: I think you want a connection between 201 and 182 not 201 and 170 as is currently the case; also no connections to 1, 3, 257, 244, and 322 (for those of us that want to dominate the entire world).
