is there a way to apply the keymap to a different piano entity? (there is this synthesizer one but the keymap doesnt work on it even though i think its just the playable piano with different sounds)

this is great and all but why the function keys to be used as playable keys as well

You can play VERY serious, you just have to be good at touch-typing.

Uh, no it's not.

You cannot play serious music when you have to hold shift to play a black key. You cannot play white and black keys at the same time. It's ridiculous.

Please make it toggleable in-game, at least through a command or something. That would be more useful than disabling it and having to restart the game every time I need the default layout

Is it possible to change these keys ourselves by editing the script somehow? I'd like to change the layout, but not in the same way as you've changed it. How would I do this if it's possible?

@Fhaust to fully get rid of it try looking in your garrys mod installation folders if you go into your program files locate steam go inside then do a scearch for garrys mod then you should find its location. After doing that find a folder called addons then try to see if you can see anything with the same name as this addon if you have then delete it you can also do a scearch for the addons name inside garrys mod to delete any other files it may have created

I like the fact you dont have to press shift, however now i'll actually have to learn piano. (Or experiment and write my own music for this.)

How do I disable it? I don't like it. Even after uninstalling it and restarting my game numerous times, the piano still has the same key layout.

The sheet music is weird. D doesn't do anything and most of the songs in the sheet music just sound weird.
