I wanted to ask for a permission to port model to Blender and then remodel and retexture it for an upcoming animation (in Blender). Credits will be of course given
9/10 for all the efforts !
man, i really really need to redo this whole thing from the ground up
Just some constructive feedback.
As the one behind the concept, i'd love to revisit the concept of a TF2-ish tank, being fan of both. i do have plans to rework the texture, because time constrains and my own lack of experience in the matter really makes it look quite bad up close. but for that i'm entirely dependant on someone who would be up to the challenge and work with me as a modeler.
Although I hate to annoy you again by making another comparison, this tank prop looks more like a doghouse or an amusement park ride by TF2 standards than an actual tank.
I mean, I know the game and the show, but i dont get the comparision or what do you mean with it. I asume its because its too cartoon-ish or due to the proportions?
I personality think it looks like something that came straight out of Minecraft or South Park's Canada. If my knowledge is correct, a TF2-friendly sherman would look pretty close to the real thing.
But other than that, I'm very fond to see tanks being added into the library of Team Fortress 2 props. It would be nice if you were able to fix the bone for the hatch, but anyway it's a good demonstration of modelling ability.
